@neiljonesecho: Jay Spearing is on his way to Bolton. Deal agreed with #LFC. Medical this afternoon.

Good luck to him. He always gave his all for the club, never complained and acted properly.

The club indulged his career for too long, but he was useful under Dalglish for a while and put in some decent performances. Hopefully he makes it back to the Premiership at some stage.

Good luck to Jay, like him, gives his all. Isn't an elite player but will do a good job for Bolton, wish him a good few years of success and hope he gets into the PL with Bolton.

Good luck to him. He's a good wee player, if not perhaps, in the end, good enough for us.

Good luck to him.

He's managed to make it despite many dismissing him due to his size earlier in his career and that's good to see.

Seemed to have shades of Gerrard in the reserves but obviously not quite cut out for the top top level.

Hope he does well. He had some decent performances for us, but ultimately I don't think he's good enough for a team with top 4 aspirations. I think he'll be back in the Premier League with Bolton or someone else, but it won't be at one of the top 6 or 7 teams.

I'm pleased Bolton came back in for him. He did well with them last season and the fans love him.

Tara Oompah Loompah - Good luck

Good luck to him. Been at the club for 16 years and even though he isnt good enough, he has always played with his heart on his sleeve.

Hope he has a good career at Bolton and that they get promoted to the Premier league.

A decent wee player though his size ultimately proved a big limitation to his ambition (largely in others' perception of him). He'd do a decent job for a premiership side - hope he gets back there.

Good luck Spearing.

Best of luck Jay - you were good. (remembers doc scene from field of dreams as he walks off field)

Holy fuck that is small.

In any other country he'd have been played in a creative attacking role as a teenager, but in England it's rare they try to develop the smaller player in that manner, though it looks like the fa & pfa are doing their best to change that attitude tbf to them.
