Raul Meireles has been passed fit to start Liverpool's Europa League last 32, first-leg encounter with Sparta Prague tonight - listen live online from 8pm.

The Portuguese midfielder was forced off against Wigan due to illness, but retains his place in Kenny Dalglish's starting XI in the Czech Republic.

David Ngog, Danny Wilson and Sotirios Kyrgiakos are also in the Reds' line-up as they make three changes from Saturday.

Academy starlet Conor Coady is named on the bench, alongside Joe Cole.

I'd say so. Can't see us playing three at the back, which would put Wilson at wingback. LB isn't his main position as it is.

True as far as it goes, but LB still isn't where he's mostly played, and wingback is something else again. I just don't see us trying it in a competition which we've publicly declared (via Comolli) to be our top priority for the season.

Three at the back could mean Carra, Greek and Wilson at CB, with Aurelio and Johnson as wing backs.

Hmm, at Nevin indicating we're shit at left back by:

a) showing 2 clips of Milan Jovanovic, who isn't a left back now, or indeed ever.
b) showing "how it should be done" by Paul Konchesky.
