I would've thought that regardless of how they start, more often than not you'd prefer to see the forwards take a shape like this;

---------------Coutinho---------------

--------------------------Suarez-------
---Sturridge----------------------------

Oncy, being a England fan, how do you feel about Woy? I hate England already, but surely having that old idiot in charge makes you a little bit disillusioned?

On the contrary, I think it tells us exactly where we're at. It's only the bellends above him who are dillusional. They've looked at Barca & Germany's structures and thought that by going out and in the press and condemning foreigners and vowing that we'll be brilliant in 6 years, we'll somehow amount to the same in time. What they don't realise is that clubs got wise to imports a while ago and started to restructure their youth policies and academies, so in time good players will come through and are coming through, this is a direct result of foreign players improving our game and forcing a rethink financially. It's only good for the game, no?

Anyway, we live on a tiny island, so any relative success is a bonus, I'd rather that than us live in a vast European country and spend our lives thinking success is enjoying an England defeat, or basking in a loss by which ever one of our neighbouring countries that we currently hate.

The last manager we had who I was happy with was Glen Hoddle mate, he was the only manager we have had since the early 90's who wasnt just a yes man, who was more interested building something than pandering to ego's.
We played great football under him and even though he played players I didnt like (Anderton, Phil Neville etc) he was more interested in the team dynamic and I loved his football. He pissed the FA off all the time so he was always dead man walking and its such a shame because since then they have all been shit.
I HATED Sven and was so angry that we hired the cunt and he was only interested in the salary and the perks. Steve Mclaren and Kevin Keegan were a tragic fucking joke. Fabio was ok, but very boring and Italian. And now Roy. And I fucking hate Roy. It breaks my heart that he is our manager. I hate his face and everything about him.
Its safe to say im at my Nadir with England. I hate most of the players, I hate the press and our manager is a cunt.
Aparantly Pep Guirdiola wanted the job when Fabio left.
:,(

I still love England obv, but the passion I had for international football has dwindled over the years. When I was a kid England and the world cup meant everything to me. Nowadays as long as Liverpool win I couldnt give a fuck. Probably because even if we qualify.......our manager is STILL Roy fucking Hodgson.

I think Hodge is getting a rough ride about being a yes man. He fucked Ferdinand off and doesnt seem to want John Terry at the centre of things. He's given Walker, Sterling, Barkley etc a go, even more "unfashionable" older lads like Osman, Lambert and Jagielka. His record isn't particularly bad either, unless people are surprised a big-club-butchered second string isn't winning 10-0 against the minnows and we aren't stuffing Spain and Germany in friendlies.
