Winning 8/9 & 2/3 draws could be enough though, all depends how the others dare with an increasing workload.
Sakho actually has the best passing completion stat in the whole squad mate. 91,8 % in his 12 games played so far.
His passing and distribution isnt a problem as the stats shows. It was the Spurs away game were he had a bit of a brainfart.
Edit: He's also 4th in the squad with the amount of passes attempted pr game.
In that next 10 games thread had this one down as our only loss, really sketchy fixture this one, we will have to be at our best to get the 3 points from this game.
Could you bump that thread? Was looking to get it bumped recently to compare my predictions against the reality.
Yes, but I prefer my own eyes rather than stats, and I never feel confident he knows what he's doing. Our defenders 'complete' loads of nothing one-two passes in front of their own area but when it comes to more adventurous passes he's not reliable at all. If Kolo has gone from being an inspired signing into a massive joke after two bad matches then Sakho merits much more critical attention, because he's a very rough diamond at present.

Dunno, when he came on against Swansea he perpetually looked unsure of what to do with the ball. Either that's a shaken confidence or very concerning. No Toure is fine, he's just a little rough around the edges.
I'm eternally optimistic about players I like so take the following with a massive dose of salt
I thought sakho was composed and very efficient with his passing.
I think his appearance of being slightly ungainly in his running/passing/technique etc, gives the impression that he's never fully in control of the ball, but whilst having the ball under lock and key. He's surprisingly effective with the ball and rarely fucks up.
I felt the same about toure, but it appears the West Brom game has shattered his confidence
He gets a FAR easier ride than other defenders. That's just a fact. Other defenders would be pilloried for what he's judged to be 'a little rough around the edges'. Indulge him as a cult figure all you like, but don't tell me what my eyes can see. He's got loads to improve.
Scary as fuck?We had a carpet like that when I was a kid
Stats are the last bastion of the unopinionated!
I prefer my GUT (which is not unsubstantial)
Scary as fuck?

Always thought Sakho made loads of very good forward passes, but as you say he needs a lot of work aswell.
The potential is world class but there is a long way to go.
Oh for fucks sake I haven't even been on the fucking site for an hour you big girl! Are you DJSydney in disguise?
He was off the boil last game so I can understand some decisions to drop him. Add to that Allen having a good game.Wait, no Coutinho? Have you all gone mad?
