11/8 is different from 8/11.

Simple mathematics.

All I pointed out was that Rodgers could not be 11/8 FAV if Martinez odds were 10/11.

10/11 is shorter odds than 11/8 therefore making Martinez favourite.

10/11 is 0.909 so if you put £1 on, you would win £1.91 back

11/8 is 1.375 so if you put £1 on, you would win £2.38 back

If you don't think that's right then give me 11/8 about Rodgers being next manager and I'll place my bet with you *insert smiley face*

Wow, you've managed to completely misunderstand what I was saying there, mate. I was agreeing with you. All I was saying is that 'fav' written after odds means 'favourite' and has nothing at all to do with whether the odds are 'on' or not.
