I'd prefer Owen Coyle if we dont appoint Kenny.

Give a young (relatively speaking) up & coming manager a chance.

With all due respect to "organised and hard to beat", I don't like the sound of it. :'(
I hear you but its better than unorganised and easy to beat...eh?
My view is similar to that of some others who've pointed out - it's like a sideway move. We aren't capable of defending well now, thks to our LB injury crisis and G.Johnson. Its not so much of the manager not being able to get the defensive play working. We've stuck so long to being organized that we've become void of ideas when it comes to attacking.

I can hand on heart say if kenny were having this disasterous start I would have more patience because

a) it's fucking kenny
if anyone deserved patience it would be him

b) he had a terrible start to his management for us the first time round (I think) and look how he turned it around

c) he's a winner.
he was a winner on the pitch and he was a winner in the dug out.

you look at kennys CV (admittedly 10 years out of date) he's a winner, you look at roy's CV and he is mediocrity, fuck it, I'd take medicority this is WORSE than mediocrity

I hate o'neill, he's a fucking coward who can't stand not getting his own way and fucks off. Hence why he's never been sacked

coyle i don't know what to make of

kenny will do for the moment

I thought the exact same thing after Bolton - Utd. I want someone passionate, who will give the players a bollocking if things aren't working. Who understands the game and has a clue on how to actually get a team balanced.

id much rather have oneill over hodgson.
yes it is the same "brand" of football, but oneill is stubborn and a fighter and i cant take any more of hodgson's defeatist bullshit.

Kenny has the support of the people!

The Board should listen to us, we know what's best...

It's all pointless really, because we're not going to sack Roy unless we get new owners.

I'd like the German manager to come and rip this squad apart and build from fresh. It's what we've should have done this summer.

i like coyle as well - i think he's got something. massive, massvie punt though. maybe too big a one at this point. but at the very least it'd inspire me, i think; ever since roy arrived i've felt completely flat about the whole club, and that's a very strange feeling for me, very strange.

No more fat slow drooling pie eating useless go compare motherfuckers. I wanna half wanna fuck our manager not race to get to the pasta line before him because he wouldnt leave me any.

or death by budgie or bouncing irish tosspot.

Hodgson just seems like some dickhead brought to bring the bad news at this point.

I want Rafa's and two yank's heads on a fork right next to the Shankly statue.

The two yanks yes - Rafa never. I'll never think otherwise than he did what he felt was the right thing for the club.

Rafa was brilliant for the club for a long time, but this is where he has left us. Not the yanks. They didn't buy or nurture 11 shitboxes who can't stumble over the line against Northampton or Utrecht or Blackpool. This is his legacy.

that's not entirely fair though is it? was the squad really that different in july from a year earlier, when we'd just had our best league season in 2 decades?

johnson for arbeloa.
the greek for hyypia.
aquilani for alonso.
maxi for voronin
ngog, kelly, pacheco, shelvey - all that bit closer to potential

sure, it's not an imporvement, but it doesn't nearly explain ths fucking mess. all the other problems people have laid at rafa's door should have been sorted by him going, surely? surely?

I thought it was time for Rafa to move on myself - but I never saw the sense in it (especially replacing him with Hodgson) unless we had new owners. Is it enough for me to want Rafas head on a spear? No. Do I think Hodgson is doing worse with those players left behind ? Yes. Has Hodgson bought some of the worst players ever in Knochesly and Poulsen ? Possibly yes, but still a long way to rival Diouf, Diao and Cheyrou. It's Benitez legacy, yes. Just as the team he took over was Houlliers. Thing is, we saw some improvement when Benitez took over Houlliers side - I'm seeing fuck all from Hodgson other than clueless bollocks. Merieles right midfield ? What the fuck ?????? And when things are going tits up - like Benitex - he's incapable of making a change. Much as, like Benitez, he appears incapable of giving youth a chance when all the seasoned professionals around him are performing like Sunday leaguers. Like I say, I'm no fan of Bentiez but I'll give him credit for the good things he did. I've see not one good thing from Hodgson as yet - nothing - all I see is a manager out of his depth whose trying to cover his arse with defeatist comments about "expectations being too high". He's full of shite excuses that are pathetic, embarrassing and simply do not wash with most Liverpool fans. Expectations too high my arse. Fuck off Roy - my expectations aren't very high at the moment but they do at least stretch high enough to believe that we should be beating fucking Blackpool at home and quite comfortably at that. You failed quite completely at that today and embarrassingly so.

this squad should be performing WELL above the current level. We all know that.

Rafa made plenty of purchasing errors, but the team is a solid one and as Crump says, not that different from the one who came second two years ago.

Roy is to blame, and a manager who starts this way, will only find it harder and harder to win games.

Why wait? only a lunatic would imagine it'll turn around. It's a matter of how far into a hole we're going to dig.

Once again, I agree with Sunny.

I also believe that Rafa felt he was doing the best thing for the club when he took on the owners (aka useless American Cunts), and I can't hate him for that.
