He's available... Done very well at every club he has been in charge of, young(er) manager so wont be that set in his ways.

Turned around the fortunes of Aston Villa, won a few titles in the mickey mouse Scottish League, has some European Experience.

It wasn't so long ago he was tipped to succeed Alex Ferguson..

I know some would disagree, however he would be my first choice right at this moment in time..

Really? Not Kenny.

He would fall out with half the players and I doubt he would bring success however he would be a vast improvement. Doubt we can afford him though, I think Kenny is the only option.

Clearly the board won't appoint Kenny.

Why?

We will just have to hope that a average, elderly manager that has won fuck all in his career comes onto the market and leads us to salvation.

Because they're scared of him having too much power, and have already turned him down once without even offering an interview.

fuckin hell, why not appoint fuckin kevin keegan.

He did finish second a couple of times, he might be too successful for the boards liking.

O'Neill could do a very good job for us, he has done well at every club he's been at thus far, he might not make us world beaters with the squad we have currently but he's make us organised and hard to beat, something we quite cleary are not at the moment.

He has done well buying up and coming players in the past, Milner, Young etc, so maybe he could do the same for us when we finally get some cash to spend.

But their "sollution" didnt help, telling them that they really dont have much choice these days. By apppointing him they will move the pressure from themselves.

With all due respect to "organised and hard to beat", I don't like the sound of it. :'(

I'm not sure we'd have the money to appoint O'Neill, given that Roy would be entitled to probably quite a wedge as a payoff, not to mention we're boracic anyway.

get kenny and tread water till the club is sold, that way it wont cost us millions when the new owners get their own guy in.

I want our next manager to be young latin suave and dapper.

Grey v neck pullovers and perfect italian slacks.

No more fat slow drooling pie eating useless go compare motherfuckers. I wanna half wanna fuck our manager not race to get to the pasta line before him because he wouldnt leave me any.

I hear you but its better than unorganised and easy to beat...eh?

O'Neill? Fucking hell. Let's go from one defensive-minded, turgid football playing manager to another eh?

Dalglish should have got the job and should have it now. Failing that, Pellegrini is the only other top manager available. I'd even take Glenn fucking Hoddle at the moment.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly what the board should have done to begin with.

I cant believe we havent secured us to a limited pay off if Roy is sacked. 6 monthds pay (appr 1 mill ) should do it.

That makes sense from our point of view, but not from Roy's. Why would he have left Fulham for a deal like that?

O'Neill is 'ok', he just seems like a sideways step. I'd rather take a gamble on Dalglish, even though it's unlikely to happen, the fans want him, his passion is infectious and players get on with him.

Do it.

Another key reason why I wanted him to get it. Some posters would have us believe the results wouldn't have been much different with Kenny in charge. I on the other hand think there's a fair chance they would have been, and this is the reason why.
