... Meant FSG would definitely replace BR with Klopp or Carlo, would you be happy to lose?
Short term pain for long term gain...

I was on the fence before cos I know it means an awful lot to the locals, but fuck me after that tonight... I've fucking had it it.

He's got to go, at any price. It's strangling the whole fucking club.

No. Never want to lose the Derby.

FSG have access to a lot of information. Who was responsible for which signings, dressing room morale, how much Rodgers has contributed. They have more than 3 seasons of data to make a decision on.

If one emotionally charged game where form goes out of the window ends up influencing owners in flipping the switch either way; then we have a more serious problem than the manager.

Having said that, if we end up putting in another limp display and getting humiliated like West Ham or Crystal Palace, I want him fired before he gives the post game press conference.

We DO have a problem more serious than the manager, but just because we can't solve that doesn't mean we won't be better off by solving the smaller problem first.

Rodgers is hanging by a thread. The owners are rubbish but we still have a reasonable chance of succeeding if circumstances force them to pull their fingers out.

I would be more than willing to lose to Everton if it sped up the Rodgers sacking and the appointment of Ancellotti or Klopp.

The fact that that shower of shite club are favourites to beat us says it all.

We need to win the derby, he's gonna go at this rate anyway, but losing the derby would be unbearable as things stand. As said, if it hinges on one game after spending that money, then our owners are as inept as we're led to believe.

How about we win the derby and they sack him anyway? I'd actually have new found respect for them if they became a bit more ruthless and looked at the wider picture.

Nah, wouldnt want to lose the derby regardless.
But I think it will happen anyway. They'll be fired up and the crowd will be behind them.
No matter what Rodgers is saying we arent close to clicking as a team. Yes we look better in attack but as always unbalanced and awful at the back.

Last night there were 37,000 at Anfield and loud booos at the end. Again. Thats what will speed up his sacking.
He's lost the fans and continue with these awful interviews.
No coming back from that. So losing or winning one more match wont change anything. It will happen sooner rather than later at this rate.

But I want to win the derby. That has to be the attitude before the game.

That said, I don't think it matters.

Normally form goes out the window with a Derby cos both sides have players who will understand the occasion & up their game as a result.

They have a few of those, we have none who will, unless Rossiter plays (& then I worry he'll get himself sent off trying to make up for the others lack of passion tbh), so I'll be surprised if we even get a point.

Course the morning of the game I'll have convinced myself Sturridge & Coutinho will win us the game regardless of the defence, but my relatively unbiased brain is currently saying we'll get beat.

And another thing, do we have to put up with fucking Jono's pathetic threads after every game? It's making the place unbearable. The last 4 games have been the worst in the last 30 years and he's going to laugh his head off when we get beat on Sunday. I'm sick to death of reading such fucking rubbish, telling us what we should be doing as a club while simultaneously, actively rooting for us to get beat? Get fucked.

It wouldn't be just the one game though. It would be after three and a bit seasons which - barring the time when we had one of the world's leading talents playing for us - have seen us ultimately flounder. There always comes a point at which a decision has to be taken, and I don't agree that it would be unreasonable of the owners to take that decision if we turn in the same kind of bloodless display against the blueslime as we did against the Mancs.

I hope we lose all our games! Then they'll definitely fire Rodgers! And we'll finally win a league the next season with Eddie Howe inshallah!

I'm a 'I wish he'd prove me wrong Rodgers fan' ... I'm not optimistic but I'm hoping a 20 goal in 20 game run from Studge!

Fair play. But we've seen all this before. If he turns this around it will be the biggest swing since that red-nosed cunt up the East Lancs survived because he won the FA Cup. This guy's never won anything, and most likely never will. Especially not with us.

Yah, unfortunately I tend to believe that ... but my heart wants to believe something magical can happen ... It's stupid - but that's part of having fun as a fan ... I'd rather stay optimistic - as at least it makes the football matches fun (I enjoyed last night - thought we played some really good stuff, and should have won 4/5-2) ... If he's let go, no issues ... He's failed unfortunately but until then, still gonna hope he does something magical ...
