@Donavan Ried
You win some you lose some. Sometimes you get it right and sometimes you don't.
Ox could have been a good signing and I still believe Keita can be. We still won the league so all is good.

😀 Right on

Edit...

I do like Keita, and stuck up for him when his confidence was low. Said a couple of goals would fix it, and they did. now injury is playing it's part... Sad

But when all are fit he has Alcântara,Keita,Henderson,Gini,Jota and Jones ahead of him All of them has a bearing on if he is even in the started let alone plays. Minamino too, as klopp tried to use him to replace firmino

Just can't see he getting real game time unless it is in the cups

Going off this season so far Jones has far to go and Shaqiri is ahead of him and Minamino. Keita won’t get 3 games without another lay off.

We play 13 times before the end of the year. That’s a game every 4ish days. No way Klopp will just go with our tried and tested front 3 for all those games. He’s alreay bemoaning about the number of muscles injuries happening in the league.

Shaqiri will get playing time. And lots of it.

You could be right 🙂

I just don't think that LFC has won each game Shagiri has played, but maybe they have. Would be nice to have a compilation of LFC games his played and assess his contribution. Obviously we have drawn or lost a few games in the last two and half seasons so, it might just turn out that we have won each game he has played. If he stays fit and is featured intelligently by Klopp, which I don't doubt, he would remain playing for the rest of the season. And would he make a difference in those cups games we get to penalties? Yes, he looks to me like he has much much more to offer. we just have to give him the opportunities

If he stays injury free, great. However, another long layoff, he should go on the transfer list alongside Matip, Ox and Kieta.

At least one of Thiago, Shaqiri, or a lesser extent Keita, should be in the starting eleven. That's not easy given their injury records, but given Firmino's decline and lost ability to both create or to score, we're just passing it from side to side, hoping Trent can unlock the door or Salah or Mane can produce a moment of magic. The importance of the false-9 position has been reduced now were coming up against two defensive walls each week. It's not ball-progression we need. It's players who think quicker than others, players who have the nous to unlock the door. I'm not sure what the answer is, but Jota and Shaqiri are certainly doing everything possible to force the issue.

Jota scored more goals at Anfield in 15 minutes than Firmino managed all last season. Klopp needs to be flexible enough in his thinking and make the required changes.
