Sarri Not Sorry

Sarri has had a few press conferences recently that I rather enjoyed. That said, I’m starting to think he is going to get sacked if he doesn’t shut up.

First this after losing to Arsenal:

Essentially publicly stating the club aren’t doing what he says he wants or needs regarding transfers:

And then again after losing to Bournemouth:

I think he deserves more time and he probably deserves a few new players to have a chance to “make the team his own”. Their results and league position aren’t poor enough to justify a sacking. However, the club can’t just let him go on in this manner can they? It’s got to be detrimental to their image.

He’s probably solidly driven the final nail into the coffin regarding Hazard leaving in the summer as well.

Surely this can’t go on long in this manner...

I like him, but there's only one winner at Chelski when the manager speaks out like this, and it's not the manager. Anyway, the poor bloke looks ill - he smokes so much he's like a nicotine patch with legs.

Having a bit of a mare isn't he?

He publicly called out his best player and the only reason Chelsea have been decent for the last few years. Maybe that's not a bad decision in the long term but in the right now where finishing outside the top 4 might cost him a job it doesn't look clever.

Hazard has pretty much made it clear he's leaving so can't blame Sarri for having a go if he's no longer playing to team orders or motivating those around him.

He's a dickhead for taking that poison chalice in the first place, so there's no point bleating on about the players now. They'll go running to uncle Roman and he'll be given old heave ho.

Reading between the lines, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume Hazard had a great deal of power in the dressing room, & for Sarri trying to stamp his authority it makes sense to get shut seeing as he wants out already.

Him saying he doesn't want him to leave only for him to leave would make him look weak.

I think Chelsea may as well stick with him. Other than Hazard who is going to leave anyways, there are only a couple of players they'd be desperate to keep (e.g. Kante).

I haven't watched much of Chelsea this season but it seems as though Sarri has left himself open to questions with how he sets up his midfield.

His use of Jorginho is a joke. He would look better if he had kante next to him offering him protection.

I'm just glad we never bought Jorginho, because that cunt is machine-tooled to be a non-stop Forum argument generator.

"If you don't understand what Jorginho brings to the team, you don't understand football"
"He's vital to how Sarri wants to play"
"All he does is pass"
"What does he actually do? He can't tackle, never scores, and doesn't create chances"
"99% of his passes are sideways"

With assorted use of the word "regista" and every post will also mention Kante.

100%!!

Was Sarri calling Higuain fat last night ?

You can tell he's not at the top [of his shape] yet," Sarri said of Higuain to Gazzetta dello Sport. "In the last month, between his back pain and the transfer window, he didn't train properly. He just needs to get back into a better condition

He just needs some steel and grit beside him.

For a shit to be solitary it has to be one shit. There’s no such thing as two solitary shits, that’s a contradiction.

Am I right or am I right?

Let's not rule out the possibility that our Sean - who is, let's face it, something of a bohemian - sometimes prefers a communal shit, like in olden days, where he and his close family and friends, or work colleagues, sit together on those benches with holes in them, where they relieve themselves of their respective shit whilst puffing on pipes and/or sipping port. If that is indeed the case, then the solitary shit, enacted away from the others in some private place or, if you will, out-house, would genuinely be a second option, and Sean's dramatic ruling out of it would be a real gesture.

Unfortunately for Chelsea if Sarri's nightmare continues then Sarri will probably do what most Chelsea managers do and persist which the situation and wait for the inevitable sack so he can get the payoff. One can only imagine how much money Mourinho has earned in the last few years from getting the golden goodbye cheque.

But I think the difference is that Sarri does what he does cause he believe it is the best way to move things forward. I don't think he is in London to be bullshitted by primadonnas. Mourinho does what he does cause he has an internat riot he needs to fight.

If a country has a less evolved view of punitive justice, such as in the good old USA, there can be multiple solitary shits.
