According to German football newspaper Kicker Roy Hodgson wants to add Sami Hyypiä to his coaching staff. Hodgson was Finnish national team manager and know Hyypiä well. It's been rumoured in Finland for a while too that Hodgson wants to bring Hyypiä back to Anfield. Hyypiä's contract with Leverkusen expires after next season and I assume that Hyypiä will play for Leverkusen next season and after that might come back to Liverpool as a coach but you'll never know what's going to happen. Just posting what Kicker says as it's reliable source.

Copied from another site.

Come back home Sami!!

One of the top 3 players of the season in Germany. He deserves to play another season whether we want him or not.

If Sami and the Greek collided on the training field I think the world would end!

Nothing against the Greek, but he's not a patch on Sami. Toughness-wise even.

Remember THAT header after the bandage around his head.

Old rumour and definately credible. Sami is playing the Ballack this season then returns home to us.

I like that idea.

Even if he doesn't come back till 2011, and even if it's for a coaching job, we should still register him as a player. What an emergency stand-in to have.
