Hmm I ain't buying it.. if the club were that pissed off and keen to sell they would have released a quick and simple statement.
I suppose the leak could have come from someone else, without the clubs knowledge.
I just don't get why the club would purposely leak this information.
If he was sent home for being a tit.. Sure, it might pull the other lads in line and highlights what is expected... but why not release a statement saying it was for further detailed medical intervention.. The other players would get the point regardless and we wouldnt be left with an angry player with a shitty reputation. Who wants to buy an injured dickhead on a large salary?

If he was fucking about too much then I'm delighted he was fucked off. He seems like a nice guy but if he's a massive bellend who doesn't take his job seriously enough then I won't be sad to see him go.
I have always liked Sakho for his charity work but this is embarrassing. The transfer committee really did a number on Rodgers with Balotelli and Sakho. How the hell did we consider investing so much money on two players who do not even understand basics of professionalism.

Rodgers more or less said himself at the time that the committee signed him. The money was there because we'd missed out on attacking targets, and he became available.

I don't think this is necessarily the end of the road. He has committed some relatively minor mistakes. He's had a shot across the bows, he now knows that Klopp will not be fucked with. If he has any brains at all he'll learn from this.

The Klopp comments about Sakho's dismissal from the tour simply confirms what everyone knew already, but the tone and intent from Klopp was pleasing; firm discipline, no patience for stupidity, laziness or disrespect, and a team ethos above any individual.
As for Sakho, it's no secret that I've been critical of him, and stunned at some of the praise he gets - adulation almost. He's earned none of that at all.
He has been superb in some games, and comically dreadful in others. There's a collective intake of breath whenever he is involved because deep down, he makes everyone nervous.
So I'm not arsed. As for talk of him being captain. Fucking hell, as if. He's had disciplinary and attitude issues throughout his career. If this dressing down from Klopp makes him realise how close he is to the end of his Liverpool career, and sees a more mature, hard-working attitude, then all the better.
He is not first choice any more though.
