Sakho sent home from the States

Joey Jones is lucky the internet wasn't around when he was playing for us. Without it he became something of a cult figure, even a 'legend' to some, even though he made Sakho look like Beckenbauer.

To be fair to Sakho he hasn't been as wildly all over the place in the same games all the time. There have been some games, especially in Europe, where he's been the most dominant and effective defender on the pitch. I don't recall seeing people slaughter his appalling incompetence after the Dortmund game at Anfield, for example, or the second leg against the mancs at OT. Credit where's credit's due. I was grateful to him for those performances, and a few more, so even if I don't think he's up to it long term, I'm not going to rewrite history, or at least my impression of it

Is he/was he ever going to gain consistency and improve? Maybe not. But he certainly wasn't the hopeless donkey some seem now to think.

All of that now seems irrelevant, seeing as he appears so stunningly stupid when it comes to appreciating what he needs to do to regain a chance to be a regular starter. A very strange character, all in all.

I'd go for Ashley Williams, at the right price. He'd be ideal and would even push for a place. People have looked down on him being linked previously, but he's a good defender, knows the league, is a good leader and is solid as a fucking Ox.

This Ragnar dude we have no idea about, and Lovren could go back to being shite for all we know, then Matip has no premiership experience. I'd deffo buy in another CB and get rid of Sakho if hes being a prick.

Klopp, however, knows both Matip and Ragnar very well. So if he's OK with waiting then one must assume he knows they'll be just fine. Sakho won't be sold anyway (yet) with our CB injury crisis. We're not crazy. None of our CBs are going to be out for long either, within a month we'll be back to full strength (assuming no new injuries).

Maybe he was, but he's 32 in a months time and Swansea will demand a decent fee for him. We can do much better, and in all honesty he isnt any better then our best CB's.

I've been disappointed with all of our signing so far, but this Summer is really shaping up to be quite a successful one! no more Allen, no more Benteke, no more Lucas and now no more Sakho hopefully! all the shit is OUT.
