"They are enjoying watching an outstanding team that is playing with freedom, but for us as a team we haven't done anything yet"
Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool head to Cardiff on Saturday in second place in the Premier League following a series of eye-catching results and performances which continued with the 3-0 win over Manchester United last Sunday.
Rodgers has transformed the club, which has not won the title since 1990, but insisted there should be no celebrations as yet.
"It is very straight forward and very simple," said the Liverpool manager. "It is great for the supporters to dream. They have got great pride now in what they are seeing.
"They are enjoying watching an outstanding team that is playing with freedom, but for us as a team we haven't done anything yet.
"We have had a very good season, we are second in the Premier League and we are improving, but we haven't done anything.
"We are focusing purely on Cardiff. That is the word we have used this week."
Liverpool have no new injury worries ahead of the trip to Wales, with Rodgers still enthused by the courage and conviction his players displayed against United.
"There were 75,000 supporters at Old Trafford," said Rodgers. "It was Manchester United's ground and mostly their supporters, but it was our ball and our game. We controlled the game."
