Messi, Henry, Alves, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o - didn't exactly sweep all before them, Chelsea would have had them in the CL semis with any decent referee. I'd have fancied our chances too.
They now have Ibra for Eto'o - does anyone think a totally re-worked RM are going to pulverise that established team ? I don't.
CL will be interesting but these are the bookies favourites (in order) : Barca, RM, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter, Arsenal, AC, Juventus. Average of 11 bookies odds.
