Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he does not believe his squad requires a "massive rebuild" this summer.
Four successive top-flight defeats have left the defending Premier League champions in sixth place, 19 points behind leaders Manchester City.

Twelve members of Klopp's squad are aged 28 or over, including nine of their regular first-team players.
"I don't think it is time for a massive rebuild like how I understand it," German coach Klopp, 53, said.
"The squad of this year didn't have the chance to play together one time really. I think it would make sense to have a look at that [problem] but on top of that, of course little readjustments will happen.
"Reacting on the situation but planning at the same time for the future and all these kinds of things. I am not sure we can do that in the summer but that is what we will try."

This is illuminating, although it has to be said there are four years difference between the players. Neto is already ahead of Salah and Mane for his age in terms of progression. He's got big potential.

I'll sign whoever we can get/afford, of the two.

I suspect it's neither

I don't even know where to start...

I'd cryogenically freeze Pele and wait till the technology allows it for us to then clone him so we can play him up front to replace Bobby.

Why could not Patrick van Aanholt Play as a midfielder..? A lot of people here say that we should play TAA from midfield. And what of Fabinho..? Plays right back for his country, Have been playing CB recently for us, but we play him from midfield. For me when he goes forward Patrick van Aanholt looks agood as if not better than Gini

The fact you needed to ask if it was him. I'm thinking he must be Jesus with all these conversions. Water into wine and all that
It's just that there a few nut jobs on the site and I wasn't sure which one of them it was that made the suggestion.

I've changed my mind completely but having seen a lot of his play this season I would like us to go all in for Declan Rice.

Strong and tall but quality in possession and he is a decent ball carrier too, drives through the middle. Provides cover for the centre backs and could end up there.

We desperately need to rebuild our spine and Rice is on the verge of reaching the next level IMO. He would give us more options in setup, is young, association trained and won't come cheap but West Ham are a selling club.

Not a sexy pick but moneyball maybe

Will cost a ton - like 40-50 million.

In what world is he moneyball? Chelsea wanted him but couldn't afford him this summer.

If he's good enough, fine. But he's not a value pick.
