Jurgen Klopp when asked about Ajax youngster Kasper Dolberg described him as a major talent and stated that all the big clubs are scouting.

Yeah read it yesterday as Klopp was in Denmark because of some Carlsberg promo and the journos had a field day.
He also added that Dolberg will become a great striker. Period.
Needless to say it was pleasing for me to read that we have a manager that's seen the same quality in him as I have, and I am at least hopeful now we'll be in the mix come Summer when he'll move on from Ajax. WE CAN DO IT!
He also talked about how much he has always rated the 'wonderful Christian Eriksen' and that he tried so sign him when at Dortmund. Asked whether he was interested in buying him now at Liverpool he glanced at his personal manager who was there to witness the interview and make sure that he didn't reveal too much before answering with a smile on his face..
- No, I don't think we can make deals with Tottenham. And his manager nodded approvingly to the wording of that answer..
All very comforting, as I am now almost certain Klopp wouldn't have picked Aspas and Alberto over Eriksen back then when we had the chance like our last manager did.
That's actually all I personally ask of our manager when it comes to transfer dealings that we can at least single out the right players - whether we'll get them is a completely different matter of course involving money, relations, player preferences etc. If we however in 9 out 10 cases single out the right player then we'd get more right than wrong when we eventually buy new faces.
