Where exactly are our alternatives to Keita and VVD and presumably Coutinho and Can aswell, not to mention replacing Lucas and Stewart in the squad.

I cant seem to see any noise anywhere about other players.
Its almost like we have taken our ball and gone home.

Who are we going after now? Or are we steadfastly convinced that we genuinely will get these two and keep our two?

As we know, teams go through cycles and it feels like at we're at a crucial point in the current cycle.

It's looking like we are as good as we're going to get with this group of players and that's not quite good enough.

What will we gain out of this season if we stay more or less as we are?

We might blood a youngster or two... but what else?

We're basically looking at stagnation and come next summer we'll likely be be starting from a lesser position to where we are now given certain departures and potentially a lack of CL football.

That's the true frustration of it all. It's not just the potential for this season to be a waste but for the following ones too.

Well considering how Plan A sank without a trace after some cunt let it out of the bag you can hardly blame them for saying SFA to anyone regarding Plan B. Hence we don't even know if a Plan B exists. Sounded alright in my head anyway.
