Summer transfers (ideal scenario)

There an article I read somewhere that attempts to explain this 'cooling'

Something about Henderson doing well in the position he would have played, Wijnaldum as the 'Golden Thread' or something, and also Lallana in midfield. And also wanting to keep Can

Then finishes by saying a more robust defensive player like Keita is what Klopp wants. Or something like that anyway

keita is the new dahoud. Likely scenario is we will be linked to him right up to the transfer window. He will ask for 150k a week, we will offer 50k. When the player then decides to join another club, the club will brief the press that they only want 'committed players' who 'believe in the project' = translation

According to the German media we are interested in Max Meyer, Goretzka and Kolasinac.
Meyer will have one year left on his contract this summer and could be available for 17 mill if he decides to leave.
Goretzka is also stalling on a new contract.
Perfect, it's exactly the type of players we need. All three on my list.
Fuck signing 19 year old prospects. First get a set of proven players. Then start looking at prospects and whathaveyou's.

half empty based on our transfer record. All talk.

mane was on the brink of signing for spurs but couldnt agree personal terms and we managed to snap him up.

I'm sold on Kolasinac. Haven't figured out Goretzka yet; saw him a few times playing in different positions, but need to see more to really judge. Max Meyer looks like a smart German playmaker, I like this type of player that always seems to pick the right pass. The only thing with him, I'm wondering whether he has enough cutting edge, because in the Premiership you might need some extra skill to succeed as a midfielder.

Meyer has really dipped this year. He has potential though.
