Apparently he's fluent in English.

No idea what he's like as a player, but looked like he struggled to get regular football until about the age of 23 - since then he's played regularly and scored for fun.

I'm none the wiser as to whether he's any good.

But on a scale of two, I'd definitely give his missus more than one.

There does seem to be a dearth of quality CBs around. If Papy Djiloboji, Kaboul and Funes Mori can get games, surely Sakho - mediocre as he is - would be in higher demand?

You should think so. WBA, West Ham, Stoke and Soton have apparently shown interest. Soton are very interested.
Maybe we can get 10-12 mill for him. French media said Sakho wants to stay in England and was positive in regards to a move to Soton.

He'a only been here 6 months though, but his lack of pace seem to be the main issue.
He makes Lucas look like Usain Bolt.
Decent enough on the ball.

Promes is lightning quick but he'll probably need time to adapt as well.
