Insignificance

Bad to the bone

As we know our above-the-average smart owners have their Moneyball philosophy as base for how they operate the European Soccer Franchise, I would like to look at the reasoning behind keeping the Northern Ireland guy in charge of the team. I am not a big follower of Norther Irish football, but I can deem the Whole set up to be slightly above Norway. I base that on the national team and not Club football. In Club football they are decades behiond Norway.

I believe the successes of Northern Ireland has been based on "foreigners" from other UK countries that have relatives to Northern Ireland. I also believe these successes are quite Limited. I remember the fuzz of Norman Whiteside being youngest player in World Cup ever or something in 1982(?) and I remember that George Best represented themjust because I remember a fan card With him for Northern Ireland (Never saw him play). Thats about it. I cant remember any significant in Football history coming from Northern Ireland.... Nada.

So based on that the statistics backing up a Young manager from there having success in bringing our Club to glory must be appr the same as a guy being brought through Scandinavian system (I know Woy had his successes here, among other bringing mighty Viking of Stavanger to a 5th Place in Norwegian League back in 2005 or something).

So if statistics meant anything, and you can choose from a German (Klopp), an Italian (Ancelotti) and a fake plastic figure from Northern Ireland..... Why the hell?

Yet still, somehow, that post had more logic and structure in it than Brendan's tactics against United did.

And was more interesting on its own bizarre term than the cries for BRs head.

You think you would get instant gratification with kloop? Ask the Dortmund supporters last season. You think Martinez is the answer? Ask the toon supporters last season.

When Cotinhou, Sturridge and Hendo gets back and adds quality this will turn again.

It's shite right now and has been for a while. It will get better.

Why not support instead of this constant kneejerk approach? I think it's far more bizarre than the original post here.

What happend to form is temporary, class is permanent?

Axing the coach in what is still almost preseason isn't Liverpool. We made a decision to get behind him. So we do that until next season or until we are much worse of than 7 points in 5 games and 2 if the hardest away games done.

Mental thread or pure troll?

Having worked a week or three in the Harland/Wolff docks I can safely say I'll never even vaguely entertain the mere idea of dissing anyone associated with Norn Iron
