Rafa's position is becoming untenable unless we have a quick resurgence. There's only so long we can be forced to endure this shite...... But at the very least we should be playing with some pride, self-belief and determination, and so far this season, Rafa seems incapable of injecting these valuable qualities into our players.

Considering how close we came last year, I think there's a few people who should eventually regret their heat-of-moment comments. There's plenty more who are sadly not at all heat-of-moment.
Much as I love Rafa and think he could still be our best way forward, its hard to argue with the above. We've had a similar low point a couple of years back - a loss to West Ham which had us in real trouble and we thought Rafa was on the brink then, so maybe this too will turn around.
I'll still be devastated if he goes, but either way its looking like a long, cold winter.

ooo i wonder what number 1 rafa/lucas fan ryan will think of this..!!
is anyone still in favour of benitez being manager or is everyone normal and can see the fucking obvious that he is shit?
shouldv got rid of him a while ago but everyone thought me and a few others were ***** because we didnt trust in rafa and his shit managerial style!
FUCK OFF RAFA... and take your shitcunts and your shit defensive approach and your stupid zonal marking with you!!

Still do - regardless of reason.

Couldn't believe it when I saw Dossena on the left wing. He's barely played all season and yet he's thrown in out of the Blue when we are desperate for form and creativity. He must have been doing a load of aimless running in training or something.

There's a bit of a misconception about last season's so called 'challenge'. While the end of season spurt was exciting, people forget that it was because of the manager's obsessive negative tactics and political point scoring with the board that we threw away a huge lead over the mancs and didn't get back into it until the pressure was off and we had far too much ground to make up. Last season was his big chance and he blew it for all the reasons we are questioning him now.
Thats true, his remarkable performance and run in earned him an extra chance (although many of us questioned the new contract) but he's blown that already. Like I said, time is up!

Once he got that contract he had us by the bollocks. He won't walk and we will have to pay him a huge severance package for his fuck up. Many soft arses genuinely believe he wanted the new deal because he loves the fans and his wife loves the Wirral, etc, when in fact it's all about power. He manouvered himself into a position of strength and took full advantage.

Come on, Raf..whilst I don't have that view either, surely you remember that a lot of psoters were extremely worried about the size of the contract just in case it all went to shit.

Like now. >🙁

I don't think he planned this of course, but he must have wanted the Houllier Safety Net.

There'll be get out clauses should we not get in to the CL, etc.

You guys should've gotten rid of Rafa earlier on in the season.. it might be too late now.
Early on in the season? What difference would it have made?

W couldn't afford it then, and I doubt we can now.

I don't want any more defensive tactical geniuses who will try and out-think the likes of Steve Bruce or Alex McCleish.

I just want an attacking manager, who will come and try to instill some fluidity and pace in our side.

- Someone who won't be concerned with what the other team are doing.
- Who will get us playing football where we try outplay the opposition rather than out-work or out-manuevre them.
- A manager who won't see the great value in a player like Kuyt, but would rather go with a player of less industry but more efficiency like Arshavin.
- Who will understand that modern day footballers require athleticism (especially the Premiership) in the form of pace and strength, as opposed to stamina and tactics.

Who am I describing? I don't know. But I know it's not Rafa.
You've just described Ginsoak.

Exactly what was Evans doing when he picked Razor every week?
