They were decent saves, but saves I'd expect him to make. They were by no means spectacular. And he was lucky to get away with an uncharacteristic moment of uncertainty with Defoe's disallowed goal. He's had quite a few MOM performances this season but I think you'd have to say that the two goal match-winning performance of Kuyt, or the full-blooded performance of Masher outshone him yesterday.
