I think you need to get down to the Emirates. My ratings are based on heart and character, which are huge factors in winning footie matches, not just pretty triangles, especially when we're struggling for form and confidence.

Best thing about tonights game was the effort in the first half and the commitment in the 2nd half to hang on. Make no mistake, Spurs threw a hell of a lot more at us than Stoke did but we still held them scoreless. That was a great effort.

The result was huge and we're right back in there for 4th, a clean sheet was great as well but, in terms of the rest of the season, that's two performances dripping with effort and commitment in succession; we haven't done that all season. That's the first time we've turned the corner in I don't know how long.

Piss off - the ratings are supposed to be on quality. If it was based on effort we'd come in behind Wigan, Brum, Everton almost every time.

I actually agree that the most important point was the effort and commitment - as I've already said to Del but to say the ratings should be based on that is rubbish. Kuyt would be MOM pratcially every game if that were true.
