We are committed to representing FIFA at the world club championship in Qatar. We enter at the semi final stage. Tournament takes place some time in December
Pretty sure that we've lost to both Flamingo of Brazil (with Zico at the helm) and Independente of Argentina back in the 80's as well. And we had about 17 goals ludicrously disallowed back in the 2005 final.
Although this has no real bearing in the grand scheme of things, I do want to win it so that we can finally say that we are the world club cup champions at last... Pisses me off that we haven't been able to say it yet.
I actually want to win a few "smaller" trophies next season. That's the nice thing about winning the CL and finishing in the top 2 in the EPL – we have a chance for 7 trophies next season and some of them can be won with just 1 or 2 games. So why not? Let's get our players used to lifting cups.

Yeah, obviously this will mean less than a trophy like the Champs league or Premier league, or even the FA cup. But I bet the players would still get a nice kick out of being the World Club champs. I have a feeling the upcoming supercup against Chelsea will be properly contested too, and since Guardiola included the Charity shield as part of last year's 'Quadruple' Mekon face palm meme I think we'll make a sincere effort at taking that off them too (after which it will suddenly drop in value again). Yes, lets win all the stuff!
