The group dynamic will have to shine brightly within the group to show the character needed to reach the milestones we'd all like to aspire to reach. I know the group feels the same way & they show great character so I'm fairly confident we can show some of that to our fans & they can see the spirit we have.
Just noticed that for the third season in a row we play Chelsea and Crystal Palace in successive matches. And in the second half of the season it's reversed.
If I was sad and disloyal I'd be rubbing my hands at those fixtures. Dead and buried by November. Teeth will be volleyed out the club. But I'd never wish that.
Rodgers gone by Xmas. We play all of the top 6 away from home first including Arsenal and Utd as our first 2 away games. 6 points after 5 games

Not a terrible list, thankfully. Hopefully, we can play some of the lesser-used players and/or U21s in the midweek games and still get the results we need, so that the key guys are well-rested for the weekend's league matches.

Just read that Everton's starting fixtures haven't been too kind either.

If the players have so much as an atom of professional pride left, they'll want to go out there and set things right in a big way.

When since have Liverpool FC been scared of playing any other team? If I sensed a player was worried by challenge I'd drop them.

It's not sentiment it's an absolute must. It should be the cornerstone of recruitment. You need character and will to win. It's what sets good teams and players apart.
Aye. We only seem to have one or two in any team we've fielded for years. They all left except Gerrard.
Many fans wanted the player who showed the most will to win gone a year before we finally cashed in on him.
With Gerrard leaving so goes our last player who truly knows what is to win and what it is to be Liverpool.
We are royally fucked in that department now
Well he knew what it was like to be Liverpool in those last few games and it took him about as far as his legs did.
I think we'll win some, lose some and some will end in draws. I hope this helps.
