Is Hojbjerg that good, KHL? Try and leave out any bias due to your nationality 😉

I ask because I've thrown him into my fantasy football team as a cheap option, mainly based on his ability on football manager.

That is a LOT to ask my friend, I will try my best, but it's.. you'll have to multiply all of the following with a factor 0.86, okay..

In short, yes he is THAT good. At least potential wise, I doubt you'll find any 20-year-old's out there better than him at this stage. And So'ton is in many ways a perfect match for him right now. Not at the very top, a team that moves the ball on the ground and with a decimated squad right now with lesser competition for a starting berth - I mean he's 20 now and he needs to get games so it wouldn't make sense to i.e. be siting on our bench waiting for Can, Wijnaldum or Henderson to get injured. He had to pick somewhere where he had the best chances of playing week in week out without it being in a team struggling for relegation (which they still might, who knows).

He was the youngest player ever fielded by Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and this during their current time of greatness with so many great players in competition, Pep has on several occasions expressed how much he like him on and off the pitch and everyone else that have worked him have all said the same.

Powerful, strong, fast feet, good vision, great skill, thunderous shot, at times almost Alonso-esque passes across the pitch, amazing physique (he's a big lad both in height and in muscle), intelligent, goal-seeking. I have in some of my most tripping reviews compared him to Gerrard but he's perhaps more identical to a player like Pogba. No real weaknesses but not quite as explosive as Gerrard and he will not score the same amount of goals as he did. He can really dominate a game from central midfield and with age and experience he will only get better.

Look, I get it, to even be mentioning a youngster in the same breath as Gerrard and to a lesser extent Pogba is a bit silly, because a lot can still go wrong, but he's got everything in his locker this kid and I really hope he gets to show it now in England. The league should suit him no-end, I mean his first game ever for Denmark he muscled Zlatan of the ball whom then tried to kick him out of the pitch in their next encounter, and Højbjerg just didn't even bother to notice it.

He will score goals this Season I'm sure, he takes a mean free-kick and have already bagged one from the penalty spot for Soton. He will also create goals, so if he's cheap in FF he should be in everyone's team really..

PS Thanks for asking!

Tough one - it's so hard to call. Arsenal get a striker and I say them, they don't and I say City (Just).

2.Where will Leicester finish ?
9th-12th - I'm sticking with 10th

3. Where will we finish ?
4th

4. Who will be our top scorer in the league ?
Origi

5. Who scores more league goals - Vardy or Zlatan ?
Zlatan

6. First manager sacked ?
Phelan doesn't count so Claude Puel

7. Who finishes bottom ?
Hull City

8. What player, new to the Premiership, will surprise everyone ?
Iwobi (not new, but break through year for sure). Pogba won't be "amazing" which will surprise the media for sure.

9. Who receives the most yellow cards for the season ?
Cattermole / Can for us.

10. Which team concedes the most goals ?
Hull

11. Who finishes higher - Pep or Jose ?

Cheers, mate, I'll definitely stick with him in my squad then. If he doesn't do the business, I'll come looking for you.

I also have Fischer in my squad, but I won't ask you to write a report on him!

Let's hope we do our usual trick of raiding Southampton next summer for Hojbjerg.

(Watch out! This is from the same person who wanted us to sign Bendtner). 😉

Based on a few Schalke games I saw last season, Hojbjerg is a big risk for Southampton. Talent for sure, but his development definitely took a wrong turn somewhere.

Sounds like we have the same squad... I will also come looking for @Kay Age El should Hodge Podge and Viktor be flops!
