Oh do fuck off modo, how can you be so fucking down. We started a season with Roy fucking Hodgson in charge. Surely that was worse?!

He meant apart from yesterday, and the day before. Wait till Monday and pre season has started and we haven't signed our marquee signing....

Pre-season never excites me. I don't know why, I can't get excited about friendlies with teams such as Linfield or whoever.

Hyypiia will get his Anfield reunion last week before the league kicks off.

We'll play Leverkusen at Anfield.

I'm very excited so much I'm going to precit lineup with "newbie" for new players.

Nice bench as well

So it would appear that Luis Suarez looks set to miss Liverpool's first competitive game under Brendan Rodgers, as well as the tour of the United States. Liverpool are expecting Suarez to be called up by Uruguay for the Olympics and, given Suarez's fierce patriotism, he would be unlikely to turn down the request. Uruguay are in the same group as Team GB and the two countries face each other on August 1. Liverpool's first Europa League qualifier is on August 2. Should Uruguay progress - and they would be expected to get out of a group that also contains Senegal and the UAE - he would inevitably be ruled out of the return Europa League game on August 9.

I'm pretty excited by pre-season to see if Suso and Sterling are looked at and given opportunity.

Reina is on holiday. He should report to Melwood on Monday.

I think Gerrard will be in the middle and Cole will play wide Fox but other than that I think thats the team we will start with against West Brom.
Cant predict whom the noob will be in the middle though.
Hopefully a Martinez type and not a prem proven shitcunt.

You have forgotten that Carra will be alongside Agger in the centre of defence

Nice touch by Suarez:

Liverpool FC's Ability Counts team today departed on their annual pilgrimage to Switzerland to take part in the European Disabled Football Tournament and a special adventure camp.

Luis Suarez, taking time out of the post-season break, sent the team a goodwill message before they flew out this afternoon.
He said: "I know that some of the players have met the boys before when the 'Ability Counts' team went on the first-team pre-season tour.
"Jamie Carragher told me they are great characters and ambassadors for the football club. I hope they have a great tournament and enjoy themselves!"
Liverpool took the title in 2010 and were runners up in 2011, but this will be the most testing tournament the team has played in.
Other qualifying teams for the competition include Manchester City, FC Zurich, Hoffenheim, The Abu Dhabi national team as well as two special Olympic teams from Liechtenstein and Osterreich.
