Pre match: Wolves away

Wolves have played a hell of a lot of games with a small squad, but they do seem to keep producing. A hell of a lot of people seem to be tipping an upset, whether that be a draw or even a loss. Clearly that's something to do with the fact that this is one of our toughest fixtures remaining, and that we did huff and puff against them at Anfield. It might be pointed out that we huffed and puffed against Leicester at Anfield too, but there's no doubt that Wolves have a set up that is both tough to break down and that allows them to use the skill and pace of their attacking players to construct dangerous breaks. I don't see us clobbering them like we did Leicester. I think we'll have another edgy one. A narrow win, or perhaps even a draw.
The thing with all these teams though is that when they come to Anfield they are expected to be defensive and play on the break, leaving us to huff and puff and eventually break them down.

At home their fans won't accept that and indeed it likely won't be the case. It made it a lot easier for us against Leicester and could well do the same versus Wolves. I'm expecting a two goal winning margin.

I hope you're right, but Wolves were a tough nut to crack even at Anfield and Leicester themselves caused us problems until relatively late on in the game. I reckon we'll scrabble and scratch our way to a 1-0 win.

However, almost all teams know that their fans will respect them setting up defensively at home against us (and City). There's no pressure to play a different way, and they won't play a different way.

Appaz Van Dijk and Gini havent been training and might be rested today, could be an interesting line up if true.

It's another example of our owners doing a fantastic job of reaching out to the Asian market.

First Minamino, second a proper neck with a snake.

Shark fin soup at the match kiosks next

As long as we're not shagging green monkeys as a new training exercise, I'll give the soup a whirl.

Rumoured team:

Alisson TAA Gomez Virgil Robbo Hendo Lallana Gini Mane Firmino Salah

Guess the stuff about Virgil werent true then.

I heard he actually had tuberculosis, but that after sighing a little, he put the work in and decided to clear it out.
