Pre match: Wolves away

I’m not worried, but I know this will be tricky. A draw would be decent but I really wanna smash this last one of this tough run to really send out that final signal to the rest of the “chasing” pack.

Now that Chelsea are messing up, I think Wolves feel that they can close the gap between them.
We should expect a really difficult game tomorrow.

We dead get a bit of luck against them last month. The decisions were right, but luck that their winger was offside by his toe before he passed to Neto. Luck that VAR existed, that would have been disallowed full stop last season. Luck that he dropped Traore against us, picking it as the match in the middle that he needed a break. We need to be very good to beat these at their place. I'm not saying we won't, just that it's a very tough game.

I think they will score, so, 1-2 or 1-1.

Our attacking play down the flanks should pose their three center back structure some problems, meaning their wingbacks have to hold back to contain us.
Their midfield will have their work cut out too, to ensure that they can support Jiminez, as they will be a bit stretched.

I felt like the United game took us a significant step towards winning the league. I've gone back into my shell. But win this game and West Ham, and I will relax a little. A 19-point gap going into February would be very nice!

They are mainly talking about the fact that some of their supporters sing 'Sign on', and that it's a shitty song to sing. They're alright.
Yep. To a man they decried it. Good lads.

Thought this was funny :
Mcmanatwat will be windmilling his willy from the kick off...

Nah, I dont think he is anymore. His defensive side has really improved and he can stand his own. He doesnt get much help from Salah, which leaves him a bit more exposed then Robertson and Mane. Its a calculated risk though I reckon.

Hopefully we are that tad fresher than them with extra options in midfield. They have had a very tight program lately, and that additional FA Cup match didnt help, so if we manage to keep up the intensity it can be key to wear them out over the second half at least. Fabs with some minutes last time and a few more sessions will be a bonus starter.

Wolves have played a hell of a lot of games with a small squad, but they do seem to keep producing. A hell of a lot of people seem to be tipping an upset, whether that be a draw or even a loss. Clearly that's something to do with the fact that this is one of our toughest fixtures remaining, and that we did huff and puff against them at Anfield. It might be pointed out that we huffed and puffed against Leicester at Anfield too, but there's no doubt that Wolves have a set up that is both tough to break down and that allows them to use the skill and pace of their attacking players to construct dangerous breaks. I don't see us clobbering them like we did Leicester. I think we'll have another edgy one. A narrow win, or perhaps even a draw.
