Mid week, I can see changes but not too many given its premier league opposition.

Ox to be given a role up front with the usual 3 dropping to the bench. Hopefully may see a youngster or two if we are winning.

I just feel our midfield does not have enough energy in that lineup. This is the issue, we are going to be forced to play Fab, and Hendo in most games - we really desperately needed to replace Gini, and now with Thiago potentially out, it's looking thin again ain't it ? I don't think Hendo, and Keita have it in them without getting an injury along the way, and then we will find ourselves back in the same situation as after last Christmas again. Telling you - we won't go the distance.

If it wasn't premier league opposition i would have liked to have seen the likes of Gordon given a game. I just think Klopp will try and keep it experienced. He may go for Milner over Henderson.

Totally agree.

Don't think Klopp is going to risk anyone of our regular starters. Just basing that on previous outings in the League cup.
Also with Thiago injured, Klopp can't risk playing Naby, Henderson or Fabinho.

Don't be surprised if Klopp plays a few kids.

More 'squad' players have got starts than I imagined however there's a 4 day gap to KO but then just 4 days to Brentford and a full strength side (so can't imagine Klopp playing anyone 3 times in 9 days). That means the DM position is an issue as Fabs will 100% be rested and I can't see Hendo used again (and therefore playing 3 times in 9 days) so I've gone with an obscure possibility :

Norwich have lost every PL game this season so I can't see them going full strength as they are already in a relegation-threatening position and they are away at Everton on the 25th. They'll rotate in squad players so I reckon this team can get it done.

I dunno. Yes, they're established, but it's still a big risk, bordering on reckless.
You think they'll rest players, I don't. Norwich desperately need a win and we're playing in their ground.
