I don't want to see a regular first team player near this starting line up.
I think many feel the same way.I don't care about this game at all.
You could perhaps make that case for the FA cup, but the League Cup isn't worth giving two fucks about, and Klopp has rightly treated it like that. I doubt he'll lose any sleep if we get knocked out.Sure - I certainly get that. But at the same time, I hate how we are forced into timidly sacrificing the cups and exiting early from those competitions. I completely understand the prioritization / hierarchy of the competitions, but I want to do well in everything. You can't just throw kids at this and think "fuck it."
We always used to take it seriously, the other teams certainly do still. Just once since Klopps first season would it hurt just to give it a go ?You could perhaps make that case for the FA cup, but the League Cup isn't worth giving two fucks about, and Klopp has rightly treated it like that. The prize money for winning the whole bloody thing is a miserable 100k.
We’d be losing money on player bonuses. You could perhaps make that case for the FA cup, but the League Cup isn't worth giving two fucks about, and Klopp has rightly treated it like that. I doubt he'll lose any sleep if we get knocked out.

Did I not say it just before you? I thought you were an echo...Called it!
He's doing the pressers, no doubt he's pressing the choice of youngsters in the game too, Klopps clearly handing a lot of the responsibility of these games to him.Klopp should take these midweek cup games off and let Ljinders take charge. (excluding CL of course)
That depends if it comes back to bite us on the arse. And the way it's going, massive number of games and injuries, yes it will hurt us.We always used to take it seriously, the other teams certainly do still. Just once since Klopps first season would it hurt just to give it a go ?
I love it as it gives our fringe and youth players valuable senior experience and it’s a cup. Success breeds success.I don't care about this game at all.
Exactly, I don't care about the cup I care about the game. I find it very interesting to see how our fringe players and youths do.I'm slightly more arsed than usual, simply because there's players in the squad who have seen little game time, but we may end up depending on later down the line.
We haven't seen much of Jones, Gomez, Taki, Origi, etc, and the likes of Gordon would be exciting to watch.
I also irrationally dislike Norwich and everything about them.
I'm all about getting minutes into fringe players.
I don't mind Norwich.
Alan Partridge.
Let's Be 'Aven ya.
Adam Buxton.
Jeremy Goss
Uel Fox (???)
Beating Munich in the 90s(???)
The goalkeeper with the mullet who managed them for one game and they got battered by 7 goals. Gunn, think that's the name.
Yellow kit.
Luis Suarez.
Nearly winning the league on the early 90s.
That's my list of things that I enjoy about Norwich

You are forgetting that game away to them when Lallana won it and it ended up 4-5 to us, and the team just jumped on Klopp with Benteke punching Klop's glasses off.I'm all about getting minutes into fringe players.

Just learned that they closed the factory in 2020.it was made in Norwich for 160 years.I do, is Coleman's from those parts?
After your comment I had a look in the fridge and had a jar of Coleman's (of Norwich, it's right there on the label).Just learned that they closed the factory in 2020.it was made in Norwich for 160 years.
Apparently one of the owners of Colmans mustard, maybe even the original one, said that they didn't make their fortune by people eating the mustard but by what they left on their plate. After your comment I had a look in the fridge and had a jar of Coleman's (of Norwich, it's right there on the label).
Anyway, I don't use it that often, usually go with dijon and mayo. But it started me thinking about my granda. He would have had those tins of Coleman's dried mustard and wee pot with a lid and tiny spoon for serving the mustard. Good memories to mixing the powder with water. It's probably the smell that helps the memory stay so strong.
