Rumoured team

Ming
Clyne Caulker Sakho Moreno
Milner Henderson Can
Lallana Benteke Firmino

Quite like tha line up. Benteke is struggling to fit in, but, he scores goals and knows how to score against this lot. Could just work nicely if he puts himself about the way we know he can. He needs his confidence and swagger back.

If Benteke plays, then I think it'll be with Milner played out wide left again.

--------- Henderson --- Can -----------
Lallana -------- Firmino -------- Milner
----------------- Benteke -----------------

We just need him to run a bit when we don't have possession, and run a bit when we do have it. Milner and Henderson will find him but he needs to run a bit to make Klopp select him so we can feed him.

He just needs to run. a. bit.

It's wet here, not covered in snow.

Liverpool rarely gets snow. We rarely get extremes of any weather here thanks to some handy geography, hence why the recent pretty strong winds are surprising to many.

I expect them to start Fellani after seeing how we coped against Carroll the other week. I thought Kolo was a weak link last game, even though half the forum seemed to disagree. I would want to see this starting:

--------------Mignolet--------------
Clyne---Caulker--Sakho---Moreno
----------Hendo---Can---------------
--Ibe---------Lallana--------Milner
--------------Firmino----------------

The two wide men were hit and miss against Arsenal but as a unit we were epic in the opening and I want to see us attempt to replicate that rather than start with Bentekkers.

If someone could bury Rooney in the first 5 minutes I think we'll be sorted - i'm hoping our pressing causes him to drop deep into midfield and leaves Martial isolated. Moreno vs Darmian will be a joy to watch.

If Caulker and Sakho are our CBs and are on decent form I'd be relatively relaxed about Fellaini. Sakho in particular can deal with his physical threat.

Regarding Darmian, I believe they've been playing him at LB so it seems unlikely that he and Moreno will be in direct opposition.

I'd be relatively happy with this side.

I'd be hoping Sakho has an upturn in form though.

Despite the fact that on paper Benteke upfront makes more sense, I really don't want to see him start, we just don't play as well as a team with him in the side.

This will be the first league game I'm gonna miss on tv against Utd in 16 years. Gutted. Hopefully someone can keep the match thread as informative as possible

Schmeichel sitting in between Carra & Sounness.

If Utd score & he celebrates he may be in for an uncomfortable time between those two!

Confirmed team is:

--------------Mignolet-----------------
Clyne---Toure---Sakho---Moreno
---------------Lucas-------------------
---------Hendo----Can---------------
Lallana------Firmino-----Milner

I'm not fully comfortable with Kolo but then again he isn't facing a striker in the form of Giroud. I hope the Lucas inclusion gives Can more licence to dominate the middle and attack rather than have both sitting.

Is it a good decision? He'll be dominated by Fellaini but I hope he surprises me and has a good game.

Utd like slow build up play, it will suit Lucas. Nobody makes more tackles/interceptions than him and will give Can freedom to push on

Sounds nice but in reality? Lets see

I worry about Fellaini and Smalling at set pieces mind you.

COME ON REDMEN!!!!!!

Someone should get Fellaini sent off. He's clearly tried so hard to get himself sent off, poor lamb, but the refs just don't want to do it, so we should help him out, the horrible thug.

As I said, Can will probably have to donate a fractured cheek or broken nose for that. If there's no blood or broken bones, there's no card with this guy. It's incredible.
