Here it is, officially the biggest and most important game of our season so far.

I only saw highlights but we played incredibly well against Real, and there is a great argument for exactly the same team. However some considerations:

- Szobo's pressing against a team that will try and pass out from the back will be powerful (see - Saints goal)
- Konate likely getting a scan on his knee - I think he will sit this one out unfortunately.
- Gakpo in form - would we put Diaz in the CF role and Gakpo left
- Trent available, but Bradley will be absolutely buzzing after that game

Anyway - I am excited to see how Slot sends the team out and how we manage what could be a massive atmosphere. Expect some of City's cunts to try to play the dark arts - especially Bernardo, Kovacic and Gundogan. We should be able to run these folks off the park. Also wonder if they'll try and throw KDB in at the start.

Bradley came off with what looked like a tight hammy so I think Trent will come in. Despite Konate being the boy that cried wolf a few times this season he may miss a few games here. Jones was absolutely brilliant against Madrid, so I'd start him and bring on Slobby to close things out.

Its such a nice problem to have that in most positions it doesn't feel like there is a 'bad' option. We have 4 midfielders that most people would be happy to see any 3 start from, and same with the 4 fit attackers.

Ali wasn't on the bench last night so presuming he isn't close to a return but I would 100% keep Queevin in as he's in such good form.

For City KdB will likely start in midfield along with Gundogan and Silva for Europe's oldest midfield.

Gvardiol had a nightmare on Tuesday but he's a good player and will almost certainly also start, Pep likes him and it sounds like Stones ( and Dias of course) won't make it. So add him to Walker, Akanji and Ake.

If that's it I can't wait to see our midfield / attack roast them.

For us I think we have to start the same team bar Trent for Bradders and Gomez or Quansah for Konate. So Gravy, Macca and Jones in midfield to keep possession.

Not sure on moving Diaz inside and playing Gakpo LW, City won't give Nunez the same space as Madrid.

Trent and Gomez (forced changes) and get Szobo in there for his energy and running power. We could use him for overloads and to run their midfield ragged basically.

The way the 2 teams have been playing lately, can only see this going 1 way.

Oh and there's no playground here. It's just an open area with some chairs and tables.

That's probably a quicker rotation than we'd like. The revs on Slot's dome polisher are ridiculously high.
