Kick Off: Saturday 5 October, 15:00 (BST)
Ref: Chris Kavanagh

Madison will be fit.
I suspect a more cautious approach to the high line in this game because of Vardy.

The line up? Matip in.

Usual back 5.
Usual front 3.
Fabinho + 2
Somehow I want a more attacking player to start. Would be nice to see Keita.

We've been off the past few games, but have still got some results..

Napoli
Sheffield United
Red Bull SaltyBalls

That's ok, teams go through down cycles. Lessons get learned.

This Leicester game will be a test to see if there's any major issues.

Matip for Gomez will be the only change if he's fit.

Not confident but then again we could end up smashing them 4-0, all depends how the
front 3 decide to play of course.

At least one midfielder comes out. Either Gini or Hendo, they were both fucked on Wed, but only Milner can come in who can press enough so he'll probably only change one from the start.

Yeh maybe Milner, did relatively well when he came on but I think he's only started 1 game in the league so far?

I presume Rodgers will want to impress at his old club and play nice attacking football which means we should be able to pick them off on the break time and time again. I'm expecting a decent game.

Will the KOP give their former manager a rendition of the once loved BRENDAN RODGERS song?

He won nothing so deserves nothing.

I wouldn't be against Gomez starting to counteract the pace of Vardy, Barnes etc. in behind as they are likely going to run that channel in behind Trent.

Any of the locals know if the game if gonna be shown live in any of the pubs over there? Have a friend who is gone over for the weekend.

Because Gomez coped well with the pace of Hwang, Minamino etc?

Nah fuck that

I'm surprised no pubs are risking a dodgy box. The fines must be big. Let me know if you hear of anywhere showing it. Thanks.

The fines can exceed £10,000 so it’s not worth the risk.

This is an extract from an article in the echo?

[article]This comes after a change in the law last summer that means a pub simply showing an unauthorised broadcast of a Premier League football match - irrespective of whether logos or graphics are displayed – infringes Premier League copyright and could face legal action.

It wasn't their pace he seemed to struggle with, more rusty decision making IMO
Indeed. When his pace was required he was more than up to the task. However he's had how many mins pitch time before that game in the past 18 months (or whenever he was initially injured) ? Almost nothing ? I thought he did OK after that long out without a start, and Salzburg were anything but an easy team to come back in for. Given games he'll get back to where he was, you could see that class at times. I'd have no problem with him starting, I bet he can match Vardy for pace, but there may not be a decision to be made anyway.

The first national in town got fined 150k didn't it? The one after that was almost 100k too. Both closed down straight away.

If the fine were 10k it'd make no sense, cos pubs pay way more than that for a year's sky, or they did about ten years ago when I was given that figure by a pub owner, & can't imagine it's reduced.
