Yeah fits the narrative of a Rodgers redemption. But theres only so many dogs to be bummed, and if Rodgers gets his there's none left for Guardiola
The first 35 mins against Salzburg we were fucking boss. We need to channel that, and give Leicester an absolute mullering. Freshen up the midfield and lets give them something to seriously worry about. They cost us last season, and it is time to take our revenge.

No because that weakens the midfield. Gomez needs to get back up to speed and only games will do that.
Where has all this hysteria about Gomez come from. Did no one watch our first 15 games last season when we were rock fuckin' solid and some people were even saying at times that Joe was the more composed or impressive of the CBs. Give him a chance to get back into the swing of things FFS. We haven't helped him by throwing him on at RB in games when we're under the cosh either!
Part of the problem IMO is that Matip has done so well in Gomez' absence that now Gomez is suffering a bit from the comparison. But I agree we need to give the lad time. We know he's class, so what we need to do now is use this as a fresh opportunity to give him the chance he needs.
Just checked, the echo reported it was 65k fine, so you're right.
Just realised today is the 4 year anniversary of Brendan's sacking. This isn't a good omen.

Gomez is rusty having played very little since his return thanks to Matip's excellent form. He needs to start and continue getting minutes. Hendo only played 60 on Wednesday so he might start as well. Would like to see Ox and Keita given a chance, but with the international break coming up Klopp may go to his usual 3 in the middle.
