Yeah, Sissokos shocker of a tackle was a red imho.

We didnt deserve anything from that game though

I think it's a bit pitiful to start complaining about potential red cards or penalties or whatever.
We were wank, that's it.

Agree with that Modo.
And I disagree with the analysis above that Gerrard offered anything in that game.
I don't recall feeling anything but frustrated by his passing or movement. He tried a couple of moves that showed his desire late in the game but he didn't quite pull them off. In fact I challenge anyone to point out anything he did of note during the game that merits his untouchable status on the team sheet. He did absolutely nothing more than Lucas would have done in that role. He didn't even offer a strong voice when Balotelli was scythed down. Nah. Gerrard is a legend for sure - but he was wank in that game.
Gerrard has a role at Liverpool still. But Rodgers needs to pull back on his reliance and do something different in a shorter amount of pitch time.

I didn't see anyone claim the we were anything other than pathetic rubbish yesterday. People legitimately claim that Newcastle should have had one, if not two, red cards. Whats wrong with that? I personally thought Newcastle could have had a penalty as well.

I often think you get too much abuse on here, but you really do stretch people's patience at times.

My point is, that it doesn't look good. Bringing up penalties or red cards when we were playing so badly imo ruins whatever analysis you want to make. It's like asking the ref to win us the game because we were so wank that we couldn't win it ourselves.

For instance look at Ryan's post about the game, did he even care about mentioning cards or penalties? Hence why I think he's a good poster.

Bullshit Modo! Nobody brought up the red card incidents to deflect from how bad we were, or as far as I can see to actually suggest that had they been awarded we would have won the match.

My own opinion is that Newcastle could have had a penalty, finished with nine men and still won the game. We were that bad.
