I'd be happy after one or two. Just need that one first of all. So badly.
I cannot imagine what it will be like going into that final game needing a result to clinch the title.
It will be both unbearable and exhilarating at the same time

My overriding emotion at Anfield in 1989 was nausea.

Although I was actually vomiting in the toilets at the time.

That game is my first Liverpool memory. I was in my kitchen wondering why my brothers were so animated watching the game.
I still haven't watched us win a league title. Really hope I get to experience one.

We won it the season after. Why couldn't you watch that?

There were so few live games when we were regularly winning that I don't think I have either.
Might have witnessed a few on Ceefax though

I remember nothing from league successes.

I remember an open top bus parade....but I don't know what it was for, when it was, or anything

I have a memory of the Arsenal game we lost but only because its stands out. I was four at the time but can remember some of it in flashes.
I can't remember a single moment from the following season so I can't really claim I remember us winning the league.
I can remember the FA cup final in 1992 and from then onward.

Ah, right.

You can still at least say we won a league title in your lifetime. That counts.

I still got the Season review video of the 89/90 season somewhere at my parents house.
I used to watch that over and over and over again.
Hurts like hell that its soon to be 30 years since we won the League.

So yeah, I’d happily swap a CL win for a League title. In a heartbeat.

Still, lost to love and enjoy these next few weeks regarding the final.
Just need a 4th place finish secured.

Next year should and have to be a massive title challenge. Going all out.

Yeah I suppose. I'd like to experience one rather than being five when it happened with no real memory of it. I do think we'll win a league again in my lifetime, I've just no idea when.

BALLS

We decided to wait and book one of the packages for Kiev rather than cobble together our own. Thomas Cook are doing "official" ones for the club, and there are a few independent crowds (Sport Options etc) who do them. Not much detail yet, but it seems that so far there are only "flight only" packages, and the Thomas Cook one states you have to have a ticket purchased through the club to book (two of ours were got through the UEFA general sale ballot in early April)

I'd just assumed all the "package" companies would have pre-booked accommodation months ago, knowing they could use them whoever got to the final, but it seems not ...

So if anyone out there knows of anyone offering 2-3 day packages that include accommodation please point me in the right direction

My mate Lee said he's doing them... http://www.opus-events.co.uk/

I reckon Liverpool fans have got more chance getting tickets off bored Madrid fans or the Kiev mob than they have off the club. And that's where I've started looking.

There is no question that a title means more than a Champions League.
We don't have a squad that is anywhere close to winning a title, so that's the priority.

Guess you need to get your dictionary out. And go fuck yourself you egotistical cunt.

I've noticed that effete little weirdo Oliver Twist seems to go around then forum liking any posts in which I'm called a cunt or similar.

What an odd way to live his life.
