@Rafiagra Spot on man, spot on. I'm not going to bash Rodgers with the super high expectations he has created through fine work. That would make me like one of the eejits who used to slag Rafa off for losing the final in Athens, without acknowledging his fine work in getting us there.

I've got news girls; we are back, and it's Because we have a great manager.

Before the Chelsea game redhorizon was starting the match and post match thread and we were doing just fine.

I'm blaming it on all of youfor changing the routine....

It needs to be said out loud.

Now that everyone has cooled down - I have to say:-

"I FUCKING LOVE WHAT WE DID YESTERDAY"

Yeah - I said it, because when we went 3-0 up I think most people on here and the players included kind of felt OK, lets go and get this GD down to zero. No it was probably not the right thing to do BUT at least we had the guts and ambition to try. We know that the title even at 3-0 up was never going to be in our hands what with City having 2 games in hand. The only way to get it real would have been to reduce that 9 GD to something like 3 or less. That's why we went for it, and we wanted to do it without having to rely on help from these other fuckers that have yet to play City, and are ready to bend over and take it up the arse. This season like many have said - we have witnessed a team with a winning mentality who want to play football, all it will take to polish it next season is to have a defensive leader on the pitch to balance our attacking intent.

You do realise that it's not mandatory to live up to your username and beyond?

You love what we did yesterday? You love that we threw away a 3 goal lead cos you thought we were going to reduce the GD to zero?

For the love of god, step back and look at what your posting? At least with Modo we all know he's a snidey little agenda pusher, you on the other hand are just showing yourself to be like the fat kid who turns up at a party and has too much sugar and then throws up everywhere. Along with being incredibly moronic of course.

Last night was only the second time ever that we've failed to win a vital game when Old Faithful was up and running. The other time was Athens 2007 and in both cases we'd have won had the manager not made crucial mistakes (after a lot of good work earlier on).

Old Faithful for manager. 😉

To be honest if city fuck up I always thought they were more likely to lose, there isn't a massive difference in waiting for them to draw / waiting for them to lose, they arnt going to shut up shop its not their style. Always thought west ham were the team most likely to get points against them, I can see it now, wave after wave of city attack, the hammers hold firm with the mighty fat sam barking orders like a medieval king with his mouth froth with ale and sending bits of chicken leg flying across the pitch, they somehow manage to work it to the wing and downings there to pick up the ball, he looks up once to see the towering collosus of andy carrol holding the line and with one ball sets him off, but big andys not fast enough, suddenly the two centre backs are all over him, he takes a breath and in one move shrugs them both to the ground, now it's just hart in his way, he doesnt have the skill to actually aim a shot so he kicks it as hard as he can, despite hitting the keeper directly in the face the force is of that much power that it pushes itself through his head pushing them both into the goal, he wheels off celebrating in the fleshy confetti that was once joe harts face

Love the "fleshy confetti".

You know things are at a painfully desperate stage when even the most tiny bit of hope is getting pinned on Stuart Downing.

Fucking dreadful player and a complete coward to boot, watching that game the other day against Spurs and he actually purposely kicked the ball out of play a couple of times when running up the wing and getting closed down.

Honestly theres a valid argument to be had that he is our worst ever signing.

Also that ssshhhhhh was unforgivable, words fail to describe how much of a fucking idiot he is to of done that.

Downing will be fouled by Hart and get a penalty and Hart sent off. At least thats what I dreamt last night.
Before anyone get their hopes up it ended 1-3 with a very unlikely Mikel OG.

If he helps beat Man City, I suspect most of the forum will let him bum them and their dogs.

You've been watching too much anime/manga

Just been sent this from a Manc saying a tad premature.

Still so gutted.

Ouch. Yeah, that's one of those things we just have to take on the chin.

Unless Carroll and Downing can do one last thing to justify their signing-on fees....
