Contrast between Rodgers and Sherwood today was like night and day, how clueless did Sherwood look sitting there

We're gonna win the league.........

That was total sex for 90 mins.

Skrtel was flawless and shows again why he is our best defender.

Suarez was Suarez

Sterling was superb

Johnson should be kept at all costs

Skrtel was exceptional.... the defense as a whole in fact... I think we will need those boys who were in the lat time we were anywhere near good... Agger was faultless too...

Im just made up with the whole thing...

GET IN

I thought Gerrard was terrific.
Don't think he gave the ball away once.
We have threats and runners coming from every angle it's magnificent to watch.

We built from the back today. Flanno's little turn to feed Coutinho for the goal was boss. Imperious all over

Something tells me we are watching a legend - realizing it may be his last go (it won't be) - and channeling everything he can into his own performance and ability to lead his men forward ... it makes it easier with Suarez there but Gerrard has been a phenomenal captain throughout this stretch ...

Flanno did well today.
Still scares the shit out of me, though.

Ay - reminds me of Carra a bit with his tackling but some of his touches when he attackes are really good. His ability to make space before setting up Coutinho's dagger goal was excellent.

Brendan's comments afterwards about 533 million lfc fans was splendid - really reinforces the view that he is more than just a manager: a visionary leader. YNWA

Yes that and the tackle on Soldado were his moments, but there are still things he can improve. I think playing on the left limits his game a bit, but somehow it's a good thing because he's then exempt from attacking as much as Johnson is and can concentrate on defending.

really harsh ratings re: flanno - we kept a clean sheet, he made several goal saving tackles, and shackled lennon - not to mention his outstanding assist for coutinho.

I think Flanno did his job, and 6.5 isn't a bad score. He wasn't as good as Johnson.
What sticks in most peoples minds is his pass to Coutinho and that tackle on Soldado.
But his misplaced passes, Agger covering for him at several occasions, miscontrolled balls, that isn't as noticeable.

Hang on.

Agger barely covered for him at all.

I call agenda
