Two dropped points.

Cissohoko makes me miss Julian Dicks.

Glen Johnson has become a coward at RB - can't do anything.

Good fight back and adjustment from Rodgers.

I hope the Lucas injury isn't serious if we don't have money for a M'Vila.

Gerrard could be the biggest obstacle in our way of getting 2nd - 4th.

Rodgers KNOWS Villa is an counterattacking team. We needed to ensure we kept possession well and regroup quickly after giving the ball away. Bad decision to not play Lucas in this game.

Rodgers got it wrong. But unlike other managers we had he isn't stubborn and doesn't persist with his mistakes.

Our fullbacks are not good enough.

We need a DM. A real good one.

Suarez was way off his game today.
Henderson Sterling and Skrtel played well everyone else was poor.

I blame Rodgers for the start and end result

We should send Cissokho back to Valencia, I'd rather the kids or a makeshift left back played there

After being 0-2 down I'm happy with Rodgers and the teams response. I can live with 1 point after being 0-2 down and playing that shite. We hate playing Villa.

Rodgers need to rethink the system and which players to use. Maybe Lucas injury will mean a new signing.

Cissokho is so shite that I miss Bjornebye.

Kolo/Skrtel partnership is awful

I dont think our season start falling apart after this, as it showed character to get back

Need to sort out the midfield/defence quickly

I'm tearing my hair out and bursting arteries when I see this situation with our fullbacks every game:
1. One can't defend. The other won't defend.
2. The one who can't defend, is willing to attack but is shit at it. The one who won't defend, also won't attack.

Suarez needs a break. He shouldnt play or even be on the bench next week against Bournemouth.

Hopefully we have some new shiny signings to bed in next week.

I disagree about Gerrard.

He wasn't very good in the first half but he was never given the chance to perform. Outnumbered and constantly being put under pressure by the Villa midfield. Henderson wasn't very good in that first 30 minutes too.

Poor by the manager trying to squeeze in Sturridge, Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho into the side. Brendan should have changed it after 10 minutes when he saw we were losing the midfield.

We cannot accomodate him in the formation Rodgers used against Spurs, City and Chelsea ... He doesn't have the stamina ... That's what I meant - we have to adjust things for him, and that will cause us problems.

I thought Gerrard was shite tbh, besides a few decent passes, improvement when he pushed further forward (surprise surprise) shouldn't really paper over poor decision making and terrible defensive play, constantly going to sleep at crucial times, him Cissokho, Toure and Johnson (who was better but still at fault again for a goal), were dire and they all need a kick up the arse.

I'd be surprised if Cissokho starts the next game. Team mates were constantly screaming at him, his confidence was shot, the fans were on his back and he was awful. Him and Moses should be sent back with a big "no thanks".

Credit should not be given to Rogers changing it at half time. The game was nearly over for us before then, yet he did nothing.

The last two seasons, our loan deals (ShiteLB, Moses and Sahin) have been so poor ... We really have been poor in this regard

He changed the formation up around 30-35 minutes ... Coutinho moved more central, Hendo to the left and we started to control the game ...

Quite. Though he was guilty of not showing enough respect to Villa though and thinking we could get away without having a dedicated DM. Gerrard was left to it to a degree, but he's in no way, shape or form, competent or disciplined enough to play there, as we've said and said and said for fucking ages, he's spent most of his professional career playing as an attacker, just because it's worked for others, it doesn't mean it will work for him - it just isn't.
