Sorry it was not an orgasm I was having but more of a heart attack. Fulham pressed up high up the pitch in the first half and we struggled. As I said in the match thread, FFC did to us what we did to AFC for the 5-1. We nearly self destructed with kamikaze defending. Sort this shit or BR. it is not acceptable. Fantastic 3 points though. Spurs need to start dropping some points.

I really wanted to see more energy and drive in the first half but we remained calm and collected (how dare they when I'm shiting myself !) and slowly turned the screw tighter and tighter.
They know they are in the title race.
The only thing that spoilt it for me was Spurs winning - how the hell can they be just 3 points (well, effectively 4) when they have been shite for half the season ? Their away record is pretty impressive though, 9 wins.

I should have myself hooked to a blood pressure monitor the next time we play a team we should be pasting. Chuffed that we won, and Rodgers and co. will be talking about how we showed character, etc. Spare me the character next time please, just go effin' paste the opponents. Games like these should come with a health advisory.
Shout out to Teixeira - good debut for the kid, and interesting that Rodgers chose to throw him on (like Smith) in adversity. That pass to Suarez was well-timed and weighted; but for a bit more composure, he could've even ended up with a goal on his debut. Good to see Rodgers acknowledge and encouraging the youngster by giving him a thumbs up for the work.
Oh, and Toure did a bit to redeem himself in the end with some big, important clearances when Fulham went for broke and threw high balls into the box. He was overmatched by Bent's pace and quickness the whole game though. Tough assignment for him, but he didn't cover himself in glory today.
And last but not least Stevie G. Ice cold veins. Nobody I'd put on the line to take a penalty like that but him. I don't think anyone in the team can handle that pressure like he can.

Him playing with Suso will be awesome. They'll confuse the fuck out of defenders by having the same face and haircut.
Brendan Rodgers has a serious set of balls on him bringing Tex on for his debut in such a tense situation. Great experience for the lad.
Same, I was a fan of Mignolet early on, but bar a good stop here or there his all round game has been shit since christmas.
