Juventus are determined to frustrate the three Premier League teams chasing Paul Pogba for at least another 18 months before considering letting him return to England.
Claims Pogba may have become unsettled in Turin alerted leading clubs across Europe, with Manchester City’s elite development manager Patrick Vieira even admitting they ‘made a mistake’ not snapping him up when he ran down his Manchester United contract and headed for Serie A.
Sportsmail can reveal City, Manchester United and Arsenal are the three English sides vying for his signature, with all three ready to follow up their interest with bids in January or at the end of the season.

But they face waiting even longer after it emerged that the 20-year old’s advisers have been in contact with Juventus officials to clear the air over his future and assure them he is happy to remain at the club for at least another season after this one.
The Premier League trio may have drawn encouragement from Pogba being on the books of super agent Mino Raiola, who is renowned for brokering big-money deals for the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli.
With Pogba currently earning 1.2million euros a year net, relatively modest compared to top salaries in the Premier League, there was a feeling the France midfielder might be tempted by richer pickings elsewhere.

But it is understood he has accepted advice that he should continue developing his game under Juve coach Antonio Conte and, as a result, has shelved any thoughts of leaving until at least the end of next season.
Juventus may now respond by offering to open talks over a new improved deal to replace a contract that expires in 2016. With Pogba looking to quadruple his earnings before committing himself long-term, however, it remains a realistic prospect that he could be back in England in 2015, while still in his early 20s.

Offer 40 million for him in the Summer if we're in the Champs ... He is a natural heir to Gerrard.

I don't get why so many people are getting their hopes up about this guy. We have to accept this player is out of our league, even with a £40million budget. City, Man utd and Chelsea not only can they match the £40m fee but they can pay him alot, lot more.

I'm just glad he walked away from United.

Him, Pique and Rossi. All talented players who they got feck all for.

I cannot find a single spurious link linking us to Pogba.

There was few links about us to Suarez, Coutinho and Studge until a few weeks before they signed.

Ok - it won't happen, but until he signs for CHelsea/City/Mancs/Arsenal, I can hope that something may happen!

OK everyone, shut it down, pack up the gear and load the wagons, we're going home, we don't have a chance and should just give up.
