Alan Pardew: West Bromwich Albion part company with manager

West Bromwich Albion have parted company with manager Alan Pardew after eight successive league defeats.
The 56-year-old was appointed on 29 November after the Baggies sacked Tony Pulis following a run of 10 Premier League games without a victory.
A 2-1 home defeat by Burnley on Saturday left Albion 10 points from safety with six games left.
Coach Darren Moore will take charge of first-team affairs "until further notice", the club said.
The Baggies' statement read: "West Bromwich Albion and Alan Pardew have agreed to mutually part company following discussions between both parties.
"Assistant head coach John Carver will also be leaving.
"The club would like to thank Alan and John for their efforts and wish them well in their future endeavours."
Pardew, a former team-mate of West Brom technical director Nick Hammond, was the club's sixth manager since 2011.
They won just once in 18 league games under him, and took only eight points from a possible 54.
Pardew's departure comes six weeks after the club sacked chairman John Williams and chief executive Martin Goodman.
West Brom are in their eighth successive Premier League season but have taken only 20 points from their 32 matches this campaign.
Pardew's previous job in the Premier League was with Crystal Palace, who sacked him in December 2016 with the club 17th in the table.

I believe there's one clear choice for West Bromwich, and it's to hire the Graham Potter. He's from the west midlands so he'd fit right in.

Positives:
He started off ok with Reading and West Ham and did okay at Newcastle. He's pretty much always managed teams with fuck all money for one reason or another which doesn't help his record.

Negatives:
He's a total thunder cunt

I bet his Hilton rewards card is stocked up to fuck. What does he do now while he's waiting for another dickhead team to employ him? And when do you think the last time he actually moved house because of an appointment? Given they all last a few months. And when are these teams going to stop employing the same half dozen utter shitbags?

I blame the telly. There's no way Neville, Carra, Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Ferdinand etc wouldn't be managing now if they weren't getting paid the same to just sit there talking bollocks... But there are loads of lower league managers doing great jobs at the minute who won't get a look in, because Mark Hughes is so charismatic.

In the end I bet he really doesn't give a fuck. He's probably still getting millions from being sacked out of contracts from years ago.
Cunt never has to work again. . . and probably never will as a premier league manager. Now I fully expect Sky to give him a pundit contract.

He'll replace fat sam in the summer just to continue the endless spiral to mediocrity and beyond

It's like our own private curse - he gets a job, gets good results against us, hardly any against anyone else, then gets sacked.

Alexander Laak, Nazi commander of the Jagala concentration camp, responsible for the deaths of thousands, was caught and executed in September 1960. Exactly 9 months later Alan Pardew was born. Spooky coincidence or reincarnation? You decide.

Hahaha! If there is a GIF of old Laak doing the same dance as Alan, then its a given

Good chance for WBA to hire a hungry and up & coming manager - but it'll be difficult to keep a lot of the players they have there. The team is full of 'old pros' but I can't see signing up for a multi-year battle back to the PL.

Fat Sam will be hungry after he gets the sack from Everton in the summer.

Weird timing to sack - i wonder whether relegation would have meant a wage cut and therefore a lower compensation to him to pay-off his contract? Surely he is toast in the Premier League, absolutely shite.

The only way Pardew will manage in the PL again is if he manages to get a team promoted. Which he won't.
