Never easy going to Selhurst Park, but even worse after an international break. Several of our players have said its difficult to come back, have a few training sessions and then adjust to the Liverpool tactics. Add a few players with jet lag, and its easy to understand why we struggled.
Palace are a quality side who can take points of any of the top sides.
I wouldnt read to much into the performance, but just be happy with the 3 points.

Living in Scotland it's funny how many locals go on about how shit Andy Robertson is when he plays for them, because it's a completely different game. There's no call for a flying scotsman down the wing, they need someone who'll make 85 last ditch tackles. It must be hard coming back from that kind of different game and get your head straight back into trying to dismantle the kind of team you were just playing for

I liked their eagle. Impressive.

I didn't realise you meant a real eagle!!

There must be all sorts of liability waiting to happen there. Eagles picking out kids' eyes, stray balls from TAA accidentally hitting the Eagle...

Good rating from Brendan. Only observations is that Bobby get a 7 for winning the game in the last ten mins. Is Mane was an 8 then Bobby was a 7.

I must go back and watch their goal again. I remember Lovren being done quite easily by Zaha on the edge of the box who then drifted into the box to pick up a goal.

I think the reason we're having trouble beating teams convincingly lately is because all of our opponents are fired up for the game. They just seem more up for it than if they play a team closer to their level.
Palace looked like a quality side against us and deserved to get a point.
