Nah, they're 15th, on 7 points, after 7 games.Perfect game from Everton's point of view. They 'gave it a go', and can claim in the pub that they could have got something from the game, but ultimately, they've helped Liverpool's title rivals so job's a good'un.
Yeah, just imagine how many points we could have had by now if we did.Watching Man C makes me wish we had a more creative player in midfield.

Imagine having DeBruyne or Silva or maybe even Eriksen. Coutinho was great for Bayern today, involved in all three goals.Watching us makes me wish that.
They need to win against Bournemouth, Southampton and Burnley and all the other mid-table cloggers. They don't expect to win against City. If the league comes down to needing to win against City, you're generally fucked.Nah, they're 15th, on 7 points, after 7 games.
They NEEDED the win.
Perfect analogy. They can lose three players and not miss a beat. You know that isn't the point. We are running a marathon and they are running a relay.
You need to win any game you can, I didn't mean this particular one, but in this form you need the next game, or the next game, cos eventually you run out of games! They need to win against Bournemouth, Southampton and Burnley and all the other mid-table cloggers. They have almost unlimited money, we don't.Perfect analogy. They can lose three players and not miss a beat.
I know why, it's just that it's fucking incredible. Man C probably has the best assembled squad in premier League history. They have almost unlimited money, we don't.
And yet they are 5 points BEHIND usI know why, it's just that it's fucking incredible. Man C probably has the best assembled squad in premier League history.
And yet they are 5 points BEHIND us
Do you think we'll make top 4 though?Let's not gloat too early. They were 7 behind us at Christmas and still won the league. I think they'll still win it this year.
Yes and the most difficult game they've had so far is Spurs at home. Still, our squad will get tested this season and while we're fighting to win the league they're cruising towards it.And yet they are 5 points BEHIND us
They're not cruising. They could have lost points today. They were deservedly beaten by Norwich. We're fighting for every win, but we're winning. They've won some games easier than us, much easier, but they've also had a few struggles, and they've dropped 5 points.Yes and the most difficult game they've had so far is Spurs at home. What I mean by us fighting and they cruising is that they're currently without their two first choice CBs and still winning. Imagine if we lost VD for 6-8 months and Matip for a month. They won the treble last year. Closed a 7 point gap to us despite everyone being convinced that they'd drop points. My point is, we're in two different cars one has no spare tiers the other one has like 5 and we both have a long drive ahead of us. Hence why one driver should be a bit more worried than the other one. They're not cruising. They could have lost points today. They were deservedly beaten by Norwich. To stretch a ropy analogy even further– they've got some fucking well dodgy tyres at the back that have them sliding all over the place defensively, not cruising serenely to their destination. We have more spares in that department than they do, it turns out. So yes, they have more attacking options than us, but the good thing is that they can only play so many in one game, and a few of them seem quite injury prone. They already have lost Sane for the whole season. That is a blow to them and leaves them just a little bit thinner than they want to be. Would I like their attacking options from the bench, sure, but this isn't a competition between a formula 1 team and the Whacky racers the way some are implying. What I mean by us fighting and they cruising is that they're currently without their two first choice CBs and still winning.
