First up Chelsea v Everton at 12.45 and we are presented with the usual dilemma of whether we are looking above us or below us in the table.
I will take the cowards way out and hope for a draw but really any result can have a positive spin put on it.

Definitely want Everton to win but any kind of dropped points for Chelsea would be huge for us. They haven't got that many tricky games left.

In all likelihood there will be only five teams still realistically competing for Champions league places after this weekend.
It's nice being one of them after four seasons of hope rather than realism.

Late change to the Everton team with Steven Naismith having to step in for Lacina Traore, who pulled up injured in the warm-up.

Much as I hate Chelsea, that Ivanovic is a wonderful player... Best in his position for years now. By a country mile.

Hoping for a draw here too.

Any result works for us really. Either gives us a bit more of a breather (though Spurs is still too close for comfort), or brings us closer to the top three spots if we win tomorrow.

Prefer an Everton victory though. Aiming high now, and it's great to see Mourinho whine; much better than seeing his pretentious and smug shit when he's winning.

Everton bossing possession, so you just know that in typical Mourinho fashion, Chelsea will grab it.

Yep.

Love how lampard is miraculously ok once the ball's back in the everton end, having been writhing in agony just seconds earlier (after losing it).

Everton just lacks a good striker-- Naismith is ordinary. So is this Traore lad injury-prone, then? Would that be why he's been shunted out on loan all over the place including Siberia?

Can't see Everton scoring from open play today. It'll have to be a Baines freekick or something lucky for them to score.

Chelsea will score at least once.. and it'll probably be enough to win unfortunately.

Urgh. Wasted 90mins watching that, only for Everton to throw it away. Typical. Stupid challenge from Jageilka.. and Howard bottles it too at the end. Ah well, at least a win tomorrow will make it a clear 2 horse race for 4th..

Ozil left out of the Arsenal squad for today's game against Sunderland.
Probably exhausted after all his exertions
