Only good thing about tonight is that our players will be hurting (and motivated) watching Chelsea and City in a CL final. It's galling.

We do need Arsenal or Chelsea to lose (to even have a chance of 4th spot being a CL place).

Can you imagine getting 4th.. and Arsenal and Chelsea winning.

Us in Europa league. Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Leicester, United all in the CL.

It would be sickening. Just like the prospect of us finishing 7th and being in the "Europa Conference League".

I thought we have given up that ghost? Chelsea will finish 3rd and Leicester will finish 4th. We at best can hope for is 5th

An American player will win the CL for the first time. Small steps but significant. Pulisic is a major part of their run as well. Exciting for us yanks

Honestly if this team had any fight left in them I would have expected to see it against Everton. We had all the motivation in the world to batter them, instead we rolled over and meekly accepted our first home defeat in decades. I don't see any fire left in this team, it feels like they mentally checked out of this season months ago.

We won't get 4th, hopefully we don't get Europa either

It's all very fucking depressing really, the two british clubs least affected financially by the pandemic are the ones who get to the final.

I got really depressed with football a few years ago (pre-Klopp) because it seemed to me that there were only two options for Liverpool - either accept we weren't going to be able to compete as we didn't have a ridiculously rich owner who would spunk exorbetant fees on players, or hope that we get bought out by some ridiculously rich owner with a human rights problem. Sell out completely or accept we're in the second tier.

Klopp came in and worked wonders on a lower budget and got us to a position where I hoped that the owners would sanction one or two big money signings each year to keep us in the mix. Now that's gone, I can't help feeling that we need to spend huge just in order to be in with a shout next year. Not a particularly wonderful feeling to have

We were in said bar years ago, the old ball and chain thought she had learned the Irish for men and women, Bruce and Sheila...

When I first moved over here, I got caught out a few times when going tor a piss in pubs, by the fact that the Irish for women is an anagram of man and the Irish for men sounds like a reference to minge

Match of the century...cunt vs cunt, title European Cunt of the Year Team.

Really upset ny this, hope to turns put to be a non existent footnote in history. Was really counting on Madrid to hold the standard.

Well, look on the bright side - it means Real, PSG & Barca are going to have to work real hard raising funds to overpay us for a couple of players so that they can challenge City & Chelsea.

That's the male toilets in an Australian themed bar in Skerries.

I'm not joking.

Sadly it's no longer there. The pub is but it was renovated several years ago and the old signage came down. Still do a good pint mind you

Wow, Willock is on form. 4 goals in 5 matches, all vs. the top sides - Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool, Leicester.

He's looking very good. Aren't United being linked with him?

Would be a surprised if Arsenal were to let him go. They seem to have a good crop of youngsters coming through - Smith Rowe, Saka, Willock, Nketiah. (Balogun signed a new contract too)

And, are Leicester going to bottle it again? Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham to play in their last 3 league matches.
