Sevilla and the EL just have that connection.I've been watching Sevilla more than most for years, because I followed them and Betis a little while I was there for a few months. Sevilla are pretty mediocre. I've never seen them do anything when I vaguely want them to get a result, especially against a decent side.
There's something quite wrong with United, and Ten Hag hasn't fixed it yet, happily.
De Gea was at fault for both the first and third imho.
Tired of earning 400k per week.
Brighton will beat Utd in the FA cup this weekend as well.
Where's that Moreno vid when you need it?
Be some big teams in there again next year.So it will Xabi vs Mourinho is the EL semi-finals. Also Sevilla vs Juve - pretty good match-ups. EL is almost more interesting than the CL this year.
Don't think it's about liking another team to win the league if its not us but more about the degrees of not hating the team who win. Arsenal are obviously a less detestable team to city and as a bunch of fans they are the only ones out of the so called top 6 who respect the minutes silence... Spurs fans are the real joke of a bunch of supportersEvery time I whinge at Arsenal players and, ti be fair, their fan’ condescending attitude to football style, this always gives me a pause.
But you’re right, I’m not sure there’s just NOT another team I’d like to win the league if it’s not Liverpool. Full stop.
Jeeezus, this is rough. I almost feel sorry for him.
I'll feel worse for him after he signs for Everton in the summer.
Maguire wanted the ball, he pointed it and De Gea played it. Both should have known better but it was another classic Maguire thinking he is some ball playing CB when he is not.To be fair, De Gea was probably the bigger culprit on the first goal, never mind the 3rd.
Looks like he’s tired of the life in Manchester.
Yeah, but look at the positioning of the 3 Sevilla players. 0-0, 5 mins, 2-2 on aggregate and playing away. You kick it the fuck long.

How about winning a trophy?
Before the Russians/Chinese/Arab ruined football with their oil money it was unthinkable that the worlds highest paid transfer fee for a player could have no credibility.
& instantly I think back to the times when Juve had just signed Thuram for about 30m and at the time he was already a world cup & serie a winner.
You only kick it long if you don't trust your CB at all. He turns on that or shows any awareness and it's a great opportunity and you're at the halfway line with three players totally out of play.
And you might rightly say "why trust that CB" even though he's instructed to play out because playing out like that is the bread and butter of any modern team with any aspirations. Well, then, again, it's the CB that is the problem. His awareness is awful and he's slow of foot and mind.
Good teams invite a press like that, it wasn't even that ferocious or complete, it was just they know that he's shit and crumbles.
Its not about that though. Its about that specific situation and the timing of it. Maguire is shit and a major issue for Utd. But I would expect both Ederson and Alisson to play that ball to anyone else but the CB with 3 players surrounding him in the 5th minute in an away tie in Europe.
