ObviouslyHad Mané done that the ref would’ve given a free kick to them.
I think we're in a "win every remaining game" situation. If we dont win tomorrow we're probably out of the title race already

What a load of rubbish.
There's a good chance we don't win it, but to say it is over based on the last few weeks form is ridiculous.
After the 7-0 win at Palace, someone posted a post in the other forum meltdown thread from a fumer stating that Liverpool were on a different plane and would walkaway with the title, while they were relegated to scrapping for a top 4 place ... and how we all laughed.
So the boot is now on the other foot, and many posts on here would grace an "Other Forum Meltdown Watch" on Bluefume.
The complete inability to stand back and see a bigger picture, rather than the microscopic focus of very recent form, never ceases to amaze me. Things do and will change - there are lots of twits in this one yet, and we are still very much in it

I have no qualms about the goal whatsoever. It was a new phase of play or whatever it's called as soon as Mings had the ball.
In that case how long is the guy offside for?
When is the next phase of play?
Aha.If mings passes to another player whether successful or not.
This is what the rule says though:https://t.co/6w3Fnd0DST?amp=1
Another example. That player is offside until the defender makes a pass or another teammate (who was onside) tackles him.
This is what the rule says though:
A PGMOL statement read: "In the 79th minute of Manchester City vs. Aston Villa, Bernardo Silva scored for Manchester City. In the build-up to the goal, Rodri was initially standing in an offside position as the ball was played upfield.
"Tyrone Mings deliberately played the ball, controlling it on his chest. As soon as Mings deliberately played the ball the following Law applies:
"'A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent.'
"As the Law deems that Rodri has not gained an advantage, he has not committed an offside offence and play should be allowed to continue. Rodri legitimately took possession of the ball from Mings, starting the attack which resulted in the goal."
